CBSsports December 13 card cancelled

    Large Dan says the CBSsports card on Dec. 13 with Charles Martin on it is cancelled. No details other than that from the large one.

    That card never made any sense. Why would CBS go against a partner in Showtime for a fight featuring just Martin and Mike Lee? I'd have very low expectations for this series, certainly not enough to make me upgrade my cable package to get CBS Sports.

    When will a low-budget boxing network/show invest in below Featherweight exclusively???

    There are so many great fights they could get for the same they pay for a random C- fighter without a real fan base in a mismatch to headline. I just don't get it. "Try and try again until you succeed," I guess is the only rationale.

    The old saying...."If you build it they will come" applies to boxing.

    We might be a minority of sportsfans, but we ALL watch when decent fights get put on.:good
