    Manny was tired and hurt against Tony for good reason.


    He was punching a bigger, taller, aggressive and fearless pressure fighter like Margarito for an entire fight.

    With a head of stone, Margarito took what Cotto and Oscar could not. Relentless rat a tat machine gun power shots throughout the fight.

    I happened to be sitting next to Juanma and Cotto. When I asked Miguel earlier in the night what he thought we might expect, his answer was a ‘tough’ fight for both men. As the fight progressed, it was clear that he was impressed. Juanma the same. Maybe more so. Each in their own way…Cotto’s English being better….made it clear that what they were seeing was extraordinary.

    even the rematch against cotto he was still pressuring cotto who can take cottos shots like that easy?

    Well, when you're fighting a slow plodding fighter that you're so much more vastly talented then, you can stand to take a few bumps...

    Though it's still better that you don't, e.g. Roy Jones moving up to fight John Ruiz...

    Pac looked spectacular in that fight. But, Margarito is tailor made for him. It was a pointless fight and the 8th title is a joke. But, it was an ATG performance, by an ATG fighter.

    pac going up from 98 pounds fighting a guy who outweighed him by 20 pounds and a top fighter is crazy what a feat!

    and the way he beat him was crazy he never ran from him like cotto!

    he fought fire with fire i can still remember when toni landed all his 170 bodyweight on little pac and pac spun him round
