    Mike Tyson

    Height - 5'10
    Reach - 71"
    Weight - 220

    Tyson Fury

    Height - 6'9
    Reach - 85"
    Weight - 260

Both fighters at their best, 100% fit and focused, fighting to their full capabilities.

Could Mike have overcome the huge disparity in size?

Could Fury have stopped Mike going to the body and getting inside?

I've made this thread because there's a good few members on here, who think that Mike was just too small.

Likewise, there's other members who think that Mike would have chopped him down.

So who would have been victorious, and how would the fight have played out?

    Many thanks.

I like Iron Mike. His technical brilliance would shine very bright against the sloppy operator named Tyson Fury. If Cunningham can put him down, Mike Tyson can surely put him out.

If a steve cunningham could fin a way to drop Tyson, then Iron mike sure would. Tyson by KO in the 1st or 2nd round, Fury stands absolutley no chance and is outmatched in every department except for height, size and reach which wont matter anyways.

Do you honestly think it would have been that early?

    Just 1-2 rounds?

    I voted for Tyson Fury.

He could actually win rather early, depending if he can press the gamepad button fast enough to dodge and slip a punch and earn multiple stars for that massive uppercut. It's possible to do enough damage to knock Mike Tyson down three times, earning a TKO...just gotta make sure he doesn't turn pink by wasting punches.

steve cunningham put this man on his ass, mike had more power, speed and was more clever with his combinations. easy KO for mike.

    Ha!

    I like Fury.

He's good, and he's an entertainer.

But I can't envisage him beating Mike.

The size & height disparity at the staredown would be hilarious. The top of Mike's head would be under Fury's chest. At this stage Tyson is good enough to probably beat Old Mike circa 2003-05. It really isn't fair to have a prime for prime discussion because Fury hasn't hit his prime yet. Usually Big HWs take longer to develop than small ones. He is a talented fighter and the late Manny Steward saw something special in him so he might turn out great, who knows.
