Rumours is it's London in early April or late February. Seeing murmurings of a co-headliner with Tyson Fury on Feb 28th
Intermission are fought when a regular champ is either injured or contemplating moving up a weight, if you win the interim fight and the champ moves up you get elevated to his position
Both of them are protected, overly-hyped fighters both desperate to avoid the number one in their division. Frampton vs Quigg is one fight i've never understood the big clamour for. Neither of them are special talents.
No disrespect, but regardless of what alphabet-soup claptrap name one gives it, Scott's "world title" is a phony, and I think you know it too.
Of course he has Billy, you make good points! But why does his team not want a fight with Quigg, which is without doubt his biggest pay day?
Exactly. Regular, interim, silver whatever. You're either the champ or your not. There is a lot of pride to be taken in being the number one contender but calling yourself the champion is ridiculous.
Totally in agreement, I don't even class Quigg as a belt holder nevermind a world champion. Frampton is a belt holder. Quiggs belt is historically worthless as Riggo is the real belt holder as well as being the World Champion.
Cyclone promotions tweeted this morning Frampton will be back late Feb/early March against Avalos in Belfast....... not London as per the rumours
but rigo is neither injured nor contemplating moving up. ryan, you can substitute frampton with quigg and quigg with galahad and your argument holds equal water.
I am positive they do want a fight with Quigg but Matchroom/Quigg/Joe Gallagher need to get off their throne and face reality - Frampton is the draw in this fight and deserves to be paid as such, Quigg couldn't fill a bath judging by his last few headliners
