    Which big fights do you think may have been fixed?
    By fixed, I mean a predetermined result. It could be a dive, bribed judges/officials or a fighter being sabotaged by his own corner.

    The only one I'm fairly sure of was Ali-Liston II.
    I give Foreman-Ali a 50/50 chance.

    Do any others come to mind?

    Not calling you a liar, just have never heard this before. Do you have any sources on this?

    When I saw your Thread I made a bet with myself you would name Ali.
    I won.

    Seemed like there was a lot of draws in big Don King fights for a while. Afterward Don would be going, "Gotta have a rematch!" Things like that get suspicious after a while.

    never considered golota/bowe to be anything more than what meets the eye, i'm not ruling it out but there are a couple of reasons why i think it wasn't fixed like that;

    golota landed some big legal shots as well, he'd have already won the fight against a lot of guys.

    i had a quick look around but couldn't find odds for the dq in either fight, almost certainly the odds would have been a lot lower for #2 tho.

    Maybe just title the thread. "I hate ali" and we'd all get your drift.

    I dont think any of the fights mentioned on this thread so far were fixed. I certainly wouldnt use ringtalk as a source. Pedro is a hack who makes **** up all the time. Hes the National Enquirer of boxing. I think a lot of times people want to believe a fix was in because they cant wrap their minds around the idea that their hero or someone who is supposedly invincible has lost.

    pretty clear dive, wouldn't really call it a big fight though.

    I didnt see where you had mentioned that one before my post. Yes, it was obvious Paul showed up for a payday and got out before Danny could land a punch and reopen his old brain hemorrhage. Probably one of the most pathetic dives Ive ever seen. Shame because Briggs was a warrior before the injury.

    Juan Martin Coggi v. Eder Gonzales I. Juan Martin Coggi v. Frankie Randall II. In these fights the referee was obviously bought off by WBA.
