Drop his guard? Did you even see both fights? Pbf was throwing a pull counter which leaves you off balanced if you miss. He missed and got caught which added to the effect of the punch and making it look worse than it actually was. With Mosley he was standing in front of him mosely feinted then threw an over hand right pbf wasn't off balanced and was hurt huge difference. One punch had to do with balance issues the other didn't. It couldn't be more clear. Arguing that Chino hurt pbf more than Mosley is insane.

That bloody nose Mayweather got from Cotto may not have looked like anything, and obviously a bloody nose is common in boxing, so I didn't pay any attention to it, but Mayweather contemplated retirement after that fight.

Cotto made him think of health comes first.

Exactly. Mosley landed flush while Floyd was upright, and TWICE Floyd's knees buckled. Maidana caught him and got his attention while he was off balance, Floyd's knees never buckled and he never held on to the ropes like people claim. His haters just want to see him hurt and discredit him over everything.

He hits extremely hard, but his boxing skills are going to be tested against Bundu this weekend

Thurman is massively over rated on these boards, bundu will take him all the way but lose on points

He definitely hits hard enough to KO anyone at welterweight.
He still needs more experience with better opponents, I hope next year he can fight with someone like Guerrero/Maidana.

My ass aint going NOWHERE . No one in here can pressure me and shut me up , you already know this :deal :rofl

But You can log off if you like .

Cuz my ass is staying right here :hey

Floyd was staggered by extra padded gloves and the bell saved him from further punishing blows .

Once again , just like the Mosley fight . it only took 1 punch to stagger Floyd and to get him in trouble again .

You cant get butthurt when someone don't agree with you or see things your way .

If you don't agree with me, then that's just fine... then so be it .

Were not little ass kids in here , lets act like men .

It looks that way because Thurman is way more explosive and engaging than Cotto was @ 147 .

    Fair Enough .

But I disagree , I feel Thurman is a very solid fighter .

But Only time will tell how great he really is .
