You know, the thought of this turning into an extended rivalry never crossed my mind. If the first fight is close, a rematch could be done in September (to thwart Floyd yet again), and even a rubber match should the rematch go another way. Adding the PR vs Mex rivalry, it sells itself.

Canelo will win this fight. I'v also got to say i'm not canelos biggest fan, I think we'v all seen the style that he doesn't do well against... but it's refreshing to see somebody willing to take on all comers, even guys like lara who's style isn't great and also didn't have some huge following.

 

Damn the hate for Cotto is strong. Cotto is the middleweight champ. Deal with it.

 

Cotto better be prepared to use a lot of movement in this fight otherwise he will take a beating.
