He don't have to be under Roach. I think he is a better fighter now that he is with Hunter.

I think Khan troubles him early or in spots but the minute he tastes leather it's all Thurman.

You say this because Thurman is unproven?

Did I make a thread about this... Guillermo Rigondeaux was unproven too...

And perhaps the greatest amateur in the history of the game. What's your point?

Showtime has been repeating Khan vs Diaz ahead of this alexander fight.

How on GOD'S GREEN EARTH can anyone watch that fight and compliment Khan's boxing skills ?? Jesus christ. Thurman out jabs him and rips his head off with the left with ease. He might decide to drop the big right hand over the jab.

My point is people underestimated him under the guise of "he didn't fight anybody. He's unproven."

Thurman being "unproven" doesn't take away from the obvious fact that Khan is easy to hit, easy to counter, and has a glass chin... For all Thurman's potential flaws waiting to be exposed, Khan being "more proven" has nothing to do with it.

I think Thurman is packing glass he's been rocked several times and I think Khan can easily stop him.

If I'm Khan's promoter, I'd steer him far away from Keith "One Time" Thurman.

I would favour Thurman to stop him at some point but Khan could possibly beat him. Khan would obviously be vulnerable to Thurman's power. Not sure Thurman could deal with Khan's speed in offence. 60/40 in Thurmans favour IMO.
