Escandon is trying to cut the ring off, exploding when he gets close but missing as Cave springs in reverse, or bows in and ties up, or just ducks in place, too quick and elusively awkward for Escandon to lay a hand on more than once. Lots of light slaps from every angle by Cave on the way in and out. Cave is chopping down on the back of Escandon's neck with the right while Escandon is pumping in hopeless body shots into the air, Cave's butt sticking out behind him so that his stomach is sucked in out of harm's way even though his feet and head are out in front.

Escandon is lunging in, all tight and nervous, breathless from the effort of chasing after Cave and winding up to sit down on his punches. Cave is squatting low, tips of his gloves skating close against the canvas, dancing around Escandon and swarming him with light jabs and slaps.

Escandon is rocking-chairing in, weight transferred to either side as he follows Cave but fails to get anything off during his narrow window in range. Escandon is tickling Cave's chin and neckline with jabs and pumping in rights, arm-weary now. Escandon is getting beaten even on the inside now as Cave ducks in low, head down between Escandon's knees, shoeshining the body and then clinching.
