How Many Previous Champs Does Wlad Beat?

Wlad took direct shots from Peter without going down, including a hard hook. He can take a hard shot or two without folding.

I think Wlad cleans house vs most champions before him.

Sometimes sustained excellence is under appreciated in sports.

Fighting Wlad for most past champions is like asking a welter weight to move up to light heavy. Outside of the punchers chance, the other guy has none. Wlad has good defense on the outside and clinching skills if needed on the inside. He's very tough to beat.

I keep saying it all the time. The nuthugger Wlad and the real world Wlad are two completely different fighters and unfortunately for the nuthuggers , only the real world Wlad exists.

And he is a very average skilled boxer who built a fraudulent reign by endless breaking of the rules.

 

It's funny, but if you'd stopped just four words into this post it would be 100% accurate. Not necessarily boxing-related but accurate.

 

From Liston on forward, the fights would actually become competitive, tho I would still favor Wlad over most of the champs.

Easiest would be Frazier, both Spinks and some of beltholders like Tubbs, Dokes, Seldon...

The most challenging would be Ali, Foreman I and Lewis.

Wlad lost badly to Purrity , Brester, Williamson and Sanders. They are not better than all those guys listed.
You can nullify a bad loss by beating great fighters. What great fighters did Wlad beat?

Wlad didn't "lose" to Williamson. He was winning the fight and won on a technical decision due to a cut that he sustained from an accidental headbutt. Learn the rules of boxing... Morrison looked arguably as bad against an 8-8 Purity as Wlad did against a far more seasoned one and long before Wlad had polished his game. Shavers was beaten legitimately by journeyman and fringe types, and who's primary tool was the right hand - Wlad's weakness is the left. Berbick, Thomas and a lot of those guys you listed had primes that lasted for about a year and a half and the course of maybe 3 fights. This shlt is nonsense...
