How Many Previous Champs Does Wlad Beat?

Yeah. I happen to like Mendoza despite some of your quarrels with him.. But this is one topic that I've never been able to see eye to eye with him on.. I don't know how someone could ignore so many painfully obvious truths that Lewis was the one at a mass disadvantage in this fight... Not Vitali.

 

Lewis won the fight because he had better skin not because he was the superior fighter, why didn't Lewis give the man a rematch to put all those doubts and questions to rest?? Think we all know why....

Wlad won 2 rounds of that fight. A fight is is 12 rounds. After the 2nd Willaimson began to dominate. He won the 3rd 10-8 after dropping Wlad.

Wlad was looking worse and worse. It was Brewtser all over again. The commentators said it. The little cut was used as an excuse to pull him out.
That cut was nothing. Guys fought and won full fights with worse cuts that that. Manny's rep was on the line and Wlad was the investment. He threw the towel in. You're lying to yourself if you think Wlad won that fight.

And he outright refused the promised rematch after the IBF put TOS ahead in the rankings for his de facto beating of Wlad. Even sued instead of going back in there and proving the first fight was a fluke.
Seriously, Wlad is a joke and a phoney champ. This fraud shroud not be favoured against any former great fighter

You pick and chose the best Wlad and ignore all his loses so its only fair you out forward the best versions of those fighters on their best night.

 

Let it also be known that Wlad rematched Carlos Monroe who had a record of 11-7-0 at the time of retirement.

His reason for the rematch was the first fight ended in a DQ for Monroe after throwing head butt and Wlad wanted to get revenge for the cut it caused him.

Why did he not want to get even with Williamson:think

 

Deep down in his heart he knew Vitali would win a rematch hence the retirement.

 

Well why no rematch?? Vitali would give big troubles to any version of Lewis. The fight left a bitter taste in the mouth for the fans and Lewis should have given us a rematch to show us what a better conditioned Lewis would have done to the Eastern European.

 

That's the point, he was not losing to Lewis he was ahead. I'd go to sleep happy knowing I was winning the fight yet lost because of the fragility of my skin rather than being the poorer fighter, Lewis got the result but didn't win the fight, yeah there is no point continuing.

 

You might want to take in consideration that Lewis stepped on the scale with full clothes on. If you subtract 3-4 pounds of clothing this puts him him near the same weight of one of his best performances ( Rahman re-match )

You also might want to consider that Vitali improved post Lewis. Lewis did not beat the best version of Vitali.

Lewis knew how the re-match would go down, so he retired.

 

That's not entirely true as Vitali was the stronger of the two at the end of the 6th round, like I said if I was Lewis deep down in my heart I would know Vitali was going to win and the cuts were a Brucey Bonus that got him the victory.
