Since when did one need to be a great fighter to be a good/great trainer?

I had thought after Stewards death Wlad might go with Abel Sanchez. Either way Banks is doing a good job with Wlad no reason to criticize him.

I guess Pacquiao should leave Roach since he wasn't elite in the pros?

Do you think Sugar Hill should take over as Wlad's main trainer?

my old coach is named kenneth ochieng and he is from kenya, i think.

He´s had about 3-400 amayeur fights, even beaten sven ottke and while kenneth is a really nice and genuine guy, his number two, a guy with 5-7 fights was a better trainer.

the number 2 guy worksouts were better planned, his technical advice atleast one level above and a better motivator.. He was even a better communicator, but i´ll let that slide due the fact, that kenneth obviously wasnt perfect in my native language.

If i had to chose between the 2, i´d pick the guy with 5-7 fights, as opposed to the man with 300-400.. weird world..

another sport, i know, but jose mourinho - arguably the best football manager in the wolrd - had a **** career in football himself.. "****# as in he didnt win anything and didnt even get to play in the best portuguese league. There were millions of footballers around the world , who were better players then mourinho in his time, but there aro no more then aq handfull, who can match his managerial career in modern times. You dont have to be a perfect player, to be a perfect coach

On a side note: What is up with vbookie? There are several fights this weekend and not a single one is up yet.

Banks is no doubt not just a trainer but a friend. If ain't broke, don't fix it. An what I have seen so far, is not broke. I think pulev fight, was a one sided clinic on wlads part, even took a few shots, an don't think there many people out there who think wlad couldn't of took him out at anytime. To me this is no doubt a favor to Emanuel also, I mean banks will learn a lot from the heavyweight champion, an time will tell what he does with it...
