The heavyweight division is at its apex. There are no better heavyweights on the planet than those who are currently fighting.

And after watching boxing for over 40 years, it makes it incredibly hard to remain a fan.

Unfortunately for Wlad for all the technical and physical gifts that he has he lacks a solid chin. This dictates the style that he fights with and has turned him into a safety first fighter who is afraid to take risks with fighters with a big punch. The Haye fight is a case in point, Wlad should have had Haye out of there with his clear advantages both technically and in size but he was afraid of being sparked by a big punch. Someone made a comment about Haye being comparable to Ali and that Wlad would beat Ali in a similar fashion!!!?? That is truly one of the most ludicrous comparisons I have heard. Ali was better at everything (apart from one shot punch power) than Haye. Ali could fight for 15 rounds at a phenomenal pace whilst Haye's punch output and workrate are laughable in comparison. I doubt that in 20 years time that anyone will have Haye in their ATG list, whilst Ali will be spoken about for hundreds of years to come.
The only reason that Wlad is still at the top is that the quality of the heavyweights is so poor. In times gone by a Tyson or an Ali would have ripped the title from him but at present there are very few quality fighters in the division.

I only ever picked the Pulev fight incorrectly.

Povetkin should have been awarded the win like i predicted. Go watch the video.
    Shocking illegal tactics - 25 mins wrong:patsch
If you think thats winning , you're a sad individual.

Do you watch any other sports other than boxing? I doubt you do , you whinny little panty liner because if you did , you'd know a fraction of that behaviour would get you suspended and seriously fined.
This is why boxing is at an all time low and why the HW championship is on Eurosport.
There's nothing more disgraceful than foul sportsmanship and , even worse are those who support it . That says more about your life than it does mine.

What do you mean 'if' . It IS illegal. 100%. Learn the rules.

He makes sure they can't move. Completely shuts down their movement cos their style doesn't suit his own. Thats not what boxing is about.

Wladimir Klitschko beats most of the Heavyweights who ever stepped in the ring on his best night. Sure, he's lost 3 times but he hasn't come close to defeat in a very long time. He has improved a lot since his last loss.

A better question may be who could have beat him? That list is much shorter.

Those who have the best chance are-

    Ali
    Holmes
    Holyfield
    Foreman
    Tyson
    Lewis
    Vitali Klitschko
    Bowe
    Frazier
    Louis

    and a few others.

To be honest it's hard to imagine Frazier and Louis getting the job done due to their lack in size. Yes, Tyson is short but he he was a very thick 220 Lbs. And he fought plenty of big and talented men.
