But the point is, the idea that Pac was the most exciting fighter is what fueled the idea that he should have financial parity with Mayweather. That he is no longer the most exciting fighter in the game significantly lowers his value.

This whole thing w/ Pacquiao-Mayweather is based entirely on race. That's why Floyd raised the PED issue. Blacks and Hispanics have traditionally dominated the game, that's why it was unbelievable to Floyd that Pac can do what he does without doping. This is why he has never lobbed PED accusations against Ortiz, Cotto, or Canelo - all of whom punch much harder than Pac.

I agree. With that said he could have done this in 2009 with the drug test and he still didn't fight and he was getting a 50/50 split.

 

Pac's own trainer said the reason why the fight didn't happen the first time was because of testing and it was their fault. Yet people still blame PBF for the fight not happening back then, hilarious really. So what you said isn't that far off from the truth.
