60/40 seems fair. It may even be a little high after Pac's recent box office performances. 35% would also be fair but any less and then Mayweather is having a laugh.

The real reson is because he was getting hit to much. Sr, requires defense that will make Floyd career last longer.

Yep. "Well he waited 5 years, fight means nothing now" "It should be at 140, pac is clearly not a WW" " fight should be in Macau, Pac cant get a fair shake in Vegas" "Mayweather is buying all the tickets, no tickets for Pac fans means not a fair fight" "Donaire on undercard will be distraction for Pacquiao" Tony Weeks will let Floyd do whatever he wants, this fight is over already" "Fight should be called Pacquiao-Mayweather, Pac has already lost because of the name billing"

    Man it never ends :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Everyone wants to see the fight, it's pretty much the last chance for it to happen.

Flomos getting brave now echoing their master, but let's see if he's brave enough to sign the contract first because all I heard from him is Bob Arum, Marquez, PEDs, splits etc.

    Same ish, different day.

i heard there was 2 reasons.....sr was scared of floyd getting hit too much, and wanted to bring a safety 1st approach, where roger is more affense.
also rogers diabetes is getting worse, and that was another factor.

Strangely isn't the fact Floyd's hand now being forced going to actually force something closer to 50-50?

    http://www.examiner.com/article/the-man-who-knew-2009-that-mayweather-would-never-fight-pacquiao

I first was informed by a key boxing insider in December 2009 that the Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather superfight would never happen.

This shocking revelation came at the press conference in New York City for a Paul Williams fight. At that point in time, Pacquiao had just destroyed Miguel Cotto and there was a massive hype for Pacquiao to get it on with Mayweather. However, at the time, Mayweather was showing reluctance and hesitation to engage in negotiations with the Pacquiao camp.

So that afternoon, I asked George Peterson, the trainer and manager of Paul Williams, who he believed would win the hypothetical Pacquiao-Mayweather clash of welterweight titans?

    His responses were stunning.

    Here is the official transcript...

Scoop: Who do you see winning Pacquiao vs. Floyd?
    Peterson: “It’s not gonna happen.”
    Scoop: You don’t think so?
    Peterson: “No.”
    Scoop: Why not?
Peterson: “It’s not a fight that’s meant to be made. That fight’s just not meant to be made.”
Scoop: Why not? Everyone wants to see it?
Peterson: “A lot of people want to see it BUT THEY'RE NOT GONNA SEE IT.”
Scoop: Mayweather doesn’t want it does he?
Peterson: “Ah, that fight is not gonna be made.”
Scoop: You’re saying it with a lot of certainty in your voice.
Peterson: “Yes sir. Yes sir. If it was gonna be made it would be made by now.”
Scoop: Who doesn’t want to pull the trigger? (I know Mayweather is the chicken here, just want to try to get more from the source.)
Peterson: “I just don’t see it being made.”
Scoop: You know something but won’t say it.
    Peterson: [Smiles].
Scoop: Who would win, if it was made? Hypothetical. Just for fun?
Peterson: “It’s not gonna be made. That fight is not gonna be made.”
Scoop: I hear you, it’s not even worth wasting the energy on a fight that is fantasy.
    Peterson: “It’s not gonna happen.”

Now, over three years later, the reasons are quite clear why Peterson knew the inside information of the Mayweather team. Peterson and Mayweather's advisor Al Haymon, who was in attendance at the press conference that afternoon, controlled Paul Williams, so obviously, clearly, Peterson had the inside track on the secret agenda of Haymon and Mayweather.

Come on now. Everyone wants to see this fight including both the pac fans and the Floyd fans. Let's not forget that just a few years ago, every Fl0mo bought a dozen "take the test" shirt (with govt. assisted money) too and they came up with all the excuses in the book. Let's not call the kettle black... you KETTLE.

Floyd and his merry band of toothless flomos know all about excuses, if it's not Arum it's PEDs, if it's not the financial split it's the cold war and on it goes.

Floyd needs to stfu with all the other stuff and sign the contract because one thing becomes certain when he does, he has to fight Manny Pacquiao and he's not winning that fight.
