Tyson was very tough. When he was a young teen, like 13 years old, he was put in tough sparing sessions with older more experienced fighters and always hung in there when hurt.

You talking about two fights where Tyson was past his best.

You really think tyson with Rooney was the same fighter in 96 that he was in 88 after Prison get out of here.

You call him a school yard Bully a lot of fighters wanted to beat somewhere scrared but you dont think guys where scard of Holyfield Lennox foreman ALI

I have seen multiple vids of fighters talking about being psyched out Brian London even said he was scared of ALI going into there fight.

Holyfield was a great champion but he does not beat tyson at his best.

Tyson at his peak is a ATG your comment that he was just a schoolyard bully was on the the greatest hater post ever.

Your not a Boxing fan your a Tyson hater.

No i dont think Mike is the greatest but try to act like he was nothing but a school yard Bully really makes me question your Boxing IQ

He cried like a baby against Holyfield.

Possibly more to do with the fact that washed-up Holyfield wasn't folding under Tyson's punches like he was supposed to, than the actual physical pain.

I wish you Tyson apologists would make your fvcking minds up. So now we have the drug use excuse both BEFORE and AFTER the prison sentence.

What next? His wet nurse didn't put enough milk on his cornflakes? How about he was given the wrong shirt to wear the day before the fight for a press conference?

The OP has a weird obsession with Tyson it seems. Tyson as a 13 year old kid begged to be allowed to carry on sparring after Bobby Stewart had laid it on him and given him a hiding.
Low pain threshold? Fighting with a toe nail ripped off would indicate not. Taking a hammering against Douglas, almost coming back with a KO win, then trying to put back his mouthpiece in a stupor indicates fighting instincts to me. Each to their own i suppose.

I have no obsession with Tyson, I just like to put nuthuggers in their place like yourself. Tyson's pain threshold as got to be the worst out of any heavyweight champion in the history of the sport, he was screaming like he'd been shot after getting a little nick.

I wouldn't doubt for one minute his pain threshold, or his courage in taking the beatings he took.

But one thing I DO know is NO other fighter has got, or has ever had, such a huge amount of nut hugging garbage followers as him. " He would have been the greatest but for,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,. " He would have gone on for ever, but for,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,," BOLLOX, the guy had a poxy 3 year reign, and that is all. Compared to true ATG'S ( and even other Heavyweights ) his short lived prime is pure s.h.i.t.

This ends the Argument do you not know that most Swarmers/Inside fighters have shorter primes then fighters of other styles.

Also Tyson went to Jail you know how much damage and problems that causes to the mind.

So a fighters comes out jail and is the same fighter?

Even if you think Holyfield beats Tyson he did not beat Prime Tyson.

Even if you watch tyson from 86-88 you see what kind of skill and talent he had after he leaves rooney his skills look worst east fight he abandoned cus whole system that a fact.

Tyson is not the greatest but to try to hate discredit a ATG is a shame Haters like you should not even watch Boxing.

Didnt he fight with a broken back? I guess that would hurt, therefore he must have a decent paint threshold...

Tyson wasn't an inside fighter so that just goes to show how much you know about the man.

Jail most probably saved Tyson from more ass kickings, while a Holyfield was battling wars Tyson was having it care free having folk come sit on his lap, living the life of a king.

Holyfield beats any version of Tyson, he was the superior fighter.

    End of discussion.

Last time i checked Byrd was knocked out by the best fighters he fought Wlad and Ike.

Maybe Vitali was more of a myth than anything.
