Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Mccloskey didn't win or come close, khan just didn't hit him cleanly. His offense sucked against a nonthreat.

 

Khan looks to have a better understanding of what he can do with is speed, and what he should do at given time than ever, he is showing very good iq. He has solid power or else Danny would not have said so and Devon would not have just stood there worried about incoming. If you're gonna call Floyd's chin only solid than I guess I can't say that for Khan, lol, anyway, I don't see it as problem for Floyd, and yes, even Pac. Khan's speed is such a stand out quality that it completely drowns his other skills making it appear as though he has none but, when you really think it about it to shut out Devon like he did, you have to realize that just can't be true.

 

A non-threat that refused to engage and spent the entire fight running away. Hard for any fighter to look good at someone that elusive, even Sugar Ray Robinson

 

Take Maidana,s power away hes a bum, take Mayweathers ability away hes just decent, take a pilots ability to fly away hes not a pilot.

No point disregarding Khans hand speed cuz he has it and you have to take it into account.

Hes better than average, he just dominated a better than average fighter. He isnt perfect in more than one ways, hed get crushed by Mayweather/Pacquiao but hes defenitaly above average.

Tough choice between 2 options but both end with Mayweather victory for me. Khan has blistering speed but thats the only advantage he has over Floyd. I went for TKO.

Im surprised by the early results of this poll if im honest. Floyd can fight and fight very well and has some power, he was quite aggresive in his early career. IF somehow Khans speed started to trouble Mayweather hed just change it up. Hes just got too much in the bag for the Brit, too many options, too many angles. HES JUST TOO GOOD. Still.

 

Maybe.. He'll outwork Floyd but what If Floyd times him most of the time? Will he still go on to work?

Kahn is a low budget Smaller Hearns type which is the kryptonite to Floyds type of style....but prime Floyd would beat the old 140 version of Kahn...but this more mature bigger version at 147 of Kahn with the addition of Hunter in his corner looks better than before, he may not have 1 punch power at 147 but he can still hurt you his speed and activitiy he is gonna give 1 punch Floyd all kind of problems....i would like to see Kahn go to the body against Mayweather....i like Kahn
