Sounds good, but it does not always follow. Alexander has good timing - look at that peach of an uppercut he caught Urango with - but he couldn't touch Khan. He was beaten to the punch again and again and had to deal with flurries on top of that. Hard to time that sort of an opponent as they leave you punching at shadows.

these are the kind of threads khan haters have to revert too post fight after he has a put on a pure masterclass , they were all wrong before the fight and now need to start a thread like this to stay active on the forum instead of going to some of the original threads where they have destroyed khan and put there hands up and said "sorry i was wrong" lol

Floyd would struggle to win a round. No chance he fights Khan

People will say anything these days. As soon as the Pacquiao fight looks likely, now he's ducking someone else....

I can't believe the Khan hype. If you gave me the choice I would definitely fight Khan and go left hook crazy targeting that neck. His chin is ALWAYS up in the air and his combos are shoe shines. Against any left hook artist (Cotto, faded but not retired Oscar) Khan will still be KOed. You have to crowd him when he starts his in and out movement and step into him to throw the left. Much easier plan to execute than avoiding Pac's weird left hand and timing his feint while you are getting bludgeoned to death from weird angles. Khan is a much easier guy to predict. Any fighter with a punch on any given night could catch Khan the way he leaves that chin up and has his hands in clumsy position after the combos. Alexander was just never very good, and I've always said that. Khan should be completely shut down by Mayweather with a timed left hook to the very very exposed neck.

Alexander was handpicked. He is feather fisted. Even I didn't predict or expect Alexander to win. Lets wait and see what happens when (if ever) Khan faces a puncher to proclaim him the GOAT shall we? Beating a guy like Alexander doesn't prove anything. People that actually watch Boxing know what Khan's liabilities are. Fan boys like you are just as bad as the people that predicted Khan to get KOed.

Khan needs to avenge the Prescott, Peterson, and Garcia wins anyway. Garcia is in the driver seat as far as that goes he is likely in line for one of Mayweather's last 2 fights.

This Khan is not the same fighter under Hunter than under Roach. There is still plenty of room for improvement though.

It annoyed me so much. When a fighter knows they've clearly lost the first 5 rounds their corner should be saying you need to go out there and win these next 7 decisively or you've lost the fight already basically. Devon would have just charged khan and put him under pressure if he really wanted it. Should have done what eubank he did to Bjs in the 2nd half of the fight and he might have won.

Khan did what he had too and it was a good performance but Alexander just didn't look like he cared.

Alexander had none of the tools to take advantage of the weaknesses. I didn't think Khan looked good against Collazo at all - old Mosley dominated him much more easily and there was zero chance of a much younger Collazo landing anything of note.

Alexander is best off the back foot, throws loopy weird shots, lacks one punch power, and has actually been an overachiever based on his talents. The Bradley fight was such an easy prediction to make after watching 30 second clips of each fighter. Alexander is also the kind of fighter who responds to things instead of saying screw it I am going to hit this guy in the neck hard. You have to disregard those nonsense flurries and take it to Khan and crowd him so you aren't on the end of his power. A prime Hatton style with a left hook lead in would absolutely decimate even this Khan in my opinion, but that is a come forward style.

Devon is just an average fighter, C+.

Khan's win over Devon is nothing to brag about.

It's funny. 2 weeks ago, this was a 'cherry pick', now he's Tommy Hearns 2.0.

    Gotta love ESB. :good

Says w/ Floyd, it's a chess match. W/ Pac, it's standing on the front lines against speed, power, and explosiveness.
