Yeah, but in all fairness, making the US Olympic Team(in any sport) is a big deal. Many of these guys commit large chunks of their lives to training so just making the team, even without medaling, is something to be proud of. It's much like the argument that ignorant people make about Bachelor's degrees not meaning anything anymore.
