I give show the + on digital media and marketing, but their inside angles need some serious ****ing work. Look at Pac Bradley one on HBO, for instance, you can see them change angles with multiple cameras on the apron, on the inside. It is beautiful work especially in HD. Sho rarely goes into the inside angle shots, preferring to pan in from the large end of the ring. Their camera crew is a bunch of amateurs. They are never on the apron for the best shots, and often have people (ie the ref) another boxer covering the view
their commentary crew kills hbo's. i'd rather watch a fight on showtime for that reason alone. jim lampley is the worst.
Still not as bad as showtimes Mauro R@n@llo: "Statement made by Danny Garcia!" - knocking out >50th ranked Rod Salka
i thought al bernstein was on point. that fight could have gone either way. herrera just got "robbed" again. can't blame haymon or showtime for that one. there's something about how herrera fights that isn't pleasing the judges.
jim lampley is the weak link at hbo. you're only as strong as your weakest link. he is thee absolute worst in boxing. but, if u like being lied to and u need ppl to yell bang, bang, bang to sell you on punches landing when they don't....don't let me stop u.
mauro is almost as bad as lampley. the guy should go back to wwe. he really sucks. i'll agree with that. for some reason he's a lot easier for me to ignore than lampley.
give credit to lampley when he was the one that's keeping it real on that lundy-dulorme fight. ward was wacked, kellerman was very impressionable or he really has a crush on ward.
Meanwhile, Lampley is being inducted into the BHOF next June, and you are stuck here, *****ing about people you don't like. Something tells me Lampley knows a lot more about boxing than your daddy Haymon ever will.
I prefer SHO/GBP over HBO/TR. I ****ing HATE the blue audience lighting that TR uses for most of their fights.:twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:
I prefer Showtime over HBO simply because of Jim "according to compubox" Lampley. The thing with sports commentators is that they all **** up. Be it passion or just ignorance. Oh and HBO has bigger budget and has had it for years. Showtime put more money into fights put no so much into behind the scenes.
