Andy Lee vs Billy Joe Saunders

Ill keep it very simple. Andy Lee has a good chin and very good boxing ability. It would take a superb boxer to make him look foolish in a pure boxing match.
Big hitters wont bother him that much either, its the tough swarming brawlers that kill Andy. Chavez and Vera did it. Stereotypical Mexican tough guys wear him down because he is a six foot two beanpole in the 160lb division, starved.

But while Andy is indeed a "very good" boxer, as you so rightly said, BJS and HNN are just that bit quicker, slicker, more athletic than him. Plus lets not forget they are tough and gutsy too, you know.

Not saying they would "make hin look foolish", not 'foolish' at all by any means - but for me they would outpoint him.

Andy does have the equaliser though and he could land it enough to win against either, but personally I dont think he would have enough success against either - definitely not against HNN and probably not against BJS. :thumbsup

I suppose it depends high highly you rate eubank Jnr because he made BJS look very ordinary

I think Billy Joe Saunders will win a UD, scores like 117-111, 116-112. Expecting the best version of Saunders to date, not the one who began to gas against Chris Jr, and had to hang on to see the fight out.
But I'm not counting Lee out, he can KO Saunders, but I think he will struggle to win a decision.
