    Floyd vs. PAC?

I'm not a huge fmj or PAC fan. Nothing against them, both are great legendary fighters, and the fight would still interest me of course even though they are getting close to overripe.

I just wonder how many others would be more excited about a GGG vs. Ward fight?

Kind of, but I would definitely pay a load of money to see GGG Froch.

That would be hugely entertaining, but I think less competitive. Froch wouldn't have the tools to keep GGG from tagging him hard, and Froch would be frustrated pretty quick when it turned into GGG's fight.

I would rather see Floyd vs Pac for the good of the sport as a whole, but also because I think Ward would beat Golovkin with much less trouble than many seem to envision. Ward-Kovalev on the other hand...

Thats funny, I see GGG beating Ward , but Ward beating Kovalev.

GGG just seems rock solid and balanced for the inside wrestling game, and Kovalev seems a little too uncoordinated and gangly. I think Ward smothers and clinches kov, but gets hurt by GGG.

When it comes to a fighter of Ward's caliber, I think the difference between Kovalev and Golovkin comes down to size. He's bigger than GGG; he's smaller than Kovalev. I think that shows in both fights.

I think Golovkin is more skilled than Kovalev, but Kovalev being naturally bigger and much stronger makes him a more serious threat to Ward in my eyes. In fact I'd probably peg Kovalev as a slight favorite over Ward, but I honestly think GGG is best suited for middleweight and that's where he should stay.

These are my two most wanted fights. But Pacweather takes precedence.

    Others that are desired:

    Terrence Crawford - Mikey Garcia
    Wilder - Fury
    Maidana - Provodnikov
    Cotto - Canelo
    Rigondeaux - Lomachenko
    Kovalev - Broner

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't GGG and Ward have almost exactly the same functional weight. Don't they both rehydrate to the 170-5 range?

    GGG vs Ward.

I think Pacquiao isn't what he once was whereas GGG and Ward are both prime. I don't think Ward is as good as Floyd and I think right now GGG is more of a monster than Pacquiao so GGG vs Ward is a closer match up than Pac vs Floyd.

Also Pac vs Floyd should have happened years ago, if it happened now I think it would just be a huge let down and make me wonder what might have been if they had fought back around 2010.

Yeah. Where these 3 guys are concerned, it's definitely a case of a good big guy beating a good wee guy

Froch GGG would be a mismatch. GGG's in a different league altogether. Froch's size and toughness would just allow him to take a terrible beating. After all the wars Carl's given us over the years, he doesn't deserve to go out like that

I can see both turning into dominations

But Ward and Golovkin have styles that mesh together for a more entertaining fight I figure

However, for the sake of the sport as a whole Floyd and Manny must happen or it will go down as a big joke

Ward and Golovkin are closer to their primes and are p4p type fighters. Only black mark on the fight is Golovkins moving up and Wards lay off
