Wow didn't go to the show but I know who the ringwalk is.. The lads a young guy who's looking to have a bit of fun.. Seen his ringwalks from when he was a kid and he tries to entertain nothing wrong with that. I never seen the fight but I agree he needs to come down to flyweight. Said that when he made his debut. These guys put a lot of effort in all year round for some idiots to come on here and judge them for ringwalks and drinking after a fight?? Boxing is on its knees in Scotland we should be getting behind these lads and hoping we can improve. Joe Ham will be British Champion within 3 years and Charlie Flynn will fight for the title how good he is we will see.. Scott Allan is good enough at flyweight to win a British title just needs to be rained in hes a young lad who has plenty of time.. Jon im sure Billy will be working hard with. Transition is the hardest thing im sure Jon will compete around British level especially with The hard work he's willing to put in.. Be good to see Morrison now working fully with St Andrews sporting club to really progress Scottish boxing. Surely that's what everyone here wants

Lol, well for a guy who knows little about boxing I have much more success than you when it comes to predicting the winner of the big so called evenly matched fights. Remember your predictions for Brook v Porter, Clev v Bellew, Groves v Froch, the Moog got them all spot on, did you get any of them right? Will say one thing for you least you back up your boxing opinions face to face as I do, and I can confirm you seem a good guy too Billy

Yes I will give you that your predictions were right, but its one thing sitting in a living room talking about it and another being in the gym preparing an athlete for it and giving instructions on the night.
don't in anyway take offence mate like they say all about opinions:good

Exactly but opinions on boxing and general knowledge is totally different to training fighters never said otherwise. Could I train a boxer well, no as would be **** doing pads e.g, could I give them a good gameplan for opponents and a style to fight with, Yes 100%

If I cant read a fight how have I only predicted 2 big fights wrong in the last year Billy? Can I ****ysis a fight, yes I can, hence getting nearly all my fight predictions right. I even told you when I meet you how Bellew would beat Clev, how Clevs weaknesses, and mentioned what they would be would be his undoing. As I said I wouldn't be a good trainer as not good at pad work, fitness regime stuff, but the way I read a fight I know I would give good advice come fight strategy, and in between rounds. Could I train fighters with all my other weaknesses I mention, no mate I couldn't as already mentioned. With you being world class on pads Billy and getting fighters max fit and not being to great at reading a fight you should maybe give me call lol

ha ha your a funny lad moog, big Tony beat a man with a hand injury in a stinker of a fight, I don't recall you telling me how Tony would beat Nathan but eh oh
So I'm not good at reading a fight mate well maybe you should look at who studied the dvd's of opponents and lost one from ten world title shots, you should ask yourself that instead of reading comments from others and being a I will jump on the bandwagon boyfan
Has I've said if you think it's easy try it! You won't because you simply don't have it yet you have a ****ing cheek to try and dirties people who have managed to do reasonably well, you should take a good look at yourself pal

Moog if you really enjoy boxing and fancied giving it a go then my advice would be to get down to your local boxing gym and learn about the parts of the game that you are not good at. Reading fights/fighters is a very important part of being a coach and is harder to train than learning how to give pads or learn fitness regimes.

Look at Billy, he never had a big boxing career (just a handful of bouts I think but Billy can either confirm or tell me otherwise) but he got into coaching and learnt his trade from a Scottish coaching great in Peter Harrison where he learnt all of the things he needed to coach fighters right up to World Level.

Don't be put off by the fact you don't think you can do pads or get people fit because Billy wasn't born with the ability to do pads or get people fit but he worked hard listened to others with more experience and did his own learning to help him get to the stage he is at where he has been involved in numerous world title fights.

At the end of the day you will never know if you can really make the grade as a coach unless you are willing to give it a go and put in the long hours it takes to get yourself the knowledge and experience to utilise the tools you have.

get the bit between your teeth and come back on here knowing you gave it a try!!
