There is no obsession over Mayweather.

He only tries to bring attention to himself by calling himself "TBE" and creating constant drama on social media, but has prevented and avoided the fight that the fans deserve. It's his behavior and cowardice that make people pay attention, otherwise no one would be talking about him.

 

HBO is KING boys...Paulie will be nowhere near this. The last big joint venture between the networks (Tyson v. Lewis) had an all HBO crew working that fight! (Larry, George, Fran Charles)

Cotto-Canelo will not be competitive at all but it will definitely be more entertaining.

Pac-Floyd will be competitive and most likely boring once Mayweather decides he can only survive by clinching or running.

He's right up there with Seckback and FightHype: Provides good information straight from the source, but when it comes time to have an opinion they can't ever be intelligent. It's kind of sad.

 

Fat Dan sucks, but he's the most knowledgeable of the three and that ain't saying much. With that said, he's nowhere CLOSE to being as bad as Elie Seckbach or Ben Thompson. Elie's visits the ER daily for lockjaw. Ben Thompson only knob shines Floyd... you can literally hear choking sounds when he's interviewing Floyd.

 

Rafael is unprofessional. I've contacted ESPN about this. He blocked me on Twitter when I literally never post (have like 100 tweets overall) and only interacted once with him a year ago. I don't necessarily like his opinions, but he does post information that can be useful. I'm not sure why ESPN would want to limit readers' access to their content.

It will be interesting to see how The Money camp reacts. They may be able to ban internet writers like Steve Kim, but can they deny access/press credentials to the top sports network.

Arum says he wants to set it up, but as soon as the other side agrees, Arum starts trying to change the date. If Floyd wasn't genuine with his offer, Arum wouldn't have to come up with these excuses.

 

I doubt he makes the main broadcast team. When Lewis fought Tyson, the PPV had Lampley and Czyz, with Albert and Ray Leonard broadcasting for Showtime but never airing due to Tyson losing.

I would guess we would see some combination of Lampley, Al Bernstein, and Max Kellerman. R****lo is okay, but for a fight of this caliber Lampley would have to be the voice.
