It's clear to see that he won't fight a real HW. Someone who is well over 6ft, 16+ stone, long reach etc.

Tyson seems content with facing the like of Chisora (who is the complete opposite of what I put above) and blown up CW's like Cunningham (see above), was due to fight Haye (another blown up HW/CW), but how long can he carry this on for? He say's that Wlad is scared etc, but Tyson won't go near fighters that are Wlad's size, let alone fighters who are near Wlad in ability and share his size. He clearly ducked Price when David was his mando.

But you can't duck the real HW's forever.

Tyson is fortunate that not only is he a giant, but the current crop of HW's - well, most of them - are small compared to him (Povetkin. Stiverne, Pulev etc).

But if Tyson still avoids fighters like those mentioned, and avoids the giant HW's like Wlad, Price and AJ, where does Tyson fit in at HW? How is he still keeping a quality ranking?

Needs to do something soon. If not, a well-managed AJ will eclipse him in 18 months.

To be fair there's not much Fury could have done.

The blown up cruiser he fought was a decent fighter. And David Haye was big name at heavyweight.

Chisora was shot to pieces when he fought him, though.

I'd have much preferred him to fight someone like Ustinov or Perez.

He dropped both British and commonwealth titles to avoid Price and fight Rogan for the Irish title instead. Blatant duck.

Surely the holy grail in heavyweight boxing is dethroning Wlad. How the hell is facing blown up cruisers, non punchers, and tubby little pressure fighters pressure fighters adequate preparation for that?

This forum has had a suspiciously large influx of idiots writing fact in capital letters after spouting BS opinions recently. Hmmm...

Pulev is 6ft 4" so he's not small. I'd love to see Pulev/Fury although there is little point in that fight now as Fury is mandatory for Wlad and Pulev is rebuilding.

If Wilder beats Stiverne does Fury take that fight over Wlad? I'd say yes unless Wilder looks amazing.

No, as Wlad will want to unify.

Nah. If he beats Wlad nobody would doubt he was good. The problem is he won't. I struggle to envisage him winning a single minute of a single round.
