Since this date issue originally came up, Canelo made a statement that he is willing to move to a different day only for Pacquiao/Mayweather

The thing Arum said weeks ago was that he was willing to do whatever it takes to get the fight made. Apparently "whatever it takes" does not include having the audacity to possibly hurt the feelings of a Mexican fighter he doesn't even promote.

 

That's what I meant. Recent as in today or yesterday. The first time Arum made the comment was like a week ago, but since then, Canelo said he is willing to move the date. Did this Arum comment come out today or yesterday?

 

Arum's comment came out this week, not "weeks ago." Canelo hasn't said he's willing to move (Oscar's merely said he'd try to convince him to), and Arum hasn't indicated he's willing to even try to make that fight that day, lest he show such grave disrespect to the Mexican people whose feelings he cares so much about :rofl:roflatsch
