May 2nd we will have an actual great card in Cotto-Canelo and they would actually fight and not some fantasy fight that just one boxer has the ability to decide if it would happen or not.

 

Mayweather has been fighting on that date, it was never an issue before.

 

Pactrolls are being idiots, I don't know why they have to act like they have to agree with arum. May 2 is a major boxing date , Mexicans being fans of boxing would rather watch pac vs floyd then canelo vs cotto.

If May-Pac falls through then Cotto-Canelo takes the date. Simple. Mayweather has been fighting on that date with no issues. Won't change now because entitled Canelo wants it.

 

The date is irrelevant, to be honest. No matter who gets the date, they all fight. It's just part of negotiations.

My point is: trying to claim May 2 is not a duck on anyone's part.

 

Sorry, when someone says it's disrespectful to fight on that date, even though it's not recognized as a national Mexican holiday in Mexico, and they have fought on that date in the past then that is an EXCUSE. It's black and white.

May 2nd is needed for promotional reasons for Canelo-Cotto.

Pacquiao-Mayweather can happen on Christmas Day, Hannakuh, 9/11, Easter, Valentine's Day, or a random Tuesday in June and it would STILL break 3 million PPVs.

Only uneducated Flamos can't understand what a unique, unstoppable beast that Pacquiao-Mayweather is. That or they know, but want to continue to support Floyd's ho ass.

If Floyd's ho ass don't move on this date, he's ducking. But this is no surprise as he's ducked for YEARS.

 

Pac wants to fight Floyd so bad, he'll fight for FREE. So much talk. Floyd says May 2nd. Now Pac can't fight on that date. May 2nd has changed since 2009 when he fought Hatton on THE VERY SAME DATE! You can't make this **** up.

Because Floyd's not going to budge on the date. He made this clear the moment Canelo declared that he was taking Cinco De Mayo weekend back. It made sense back then because he would have been fighting Khan/Garcia/Thurman - so Cinco De Mayo would be critical to boosting PPV buys. But now that Pac's supposedly on his radar, the date is not necessary. If he won't move from May 2nd, it's a duck. Plain and simple.
