Dirrell is throwing high flurries over the head now, Edwards weaving in low. Edwards hooks at the body but Dirrell sidesteps and shoeshines down at the back of Edwards' head. Left hand leads from outside by Dirrell, stepping and pivoting after each. Clinch. Dirrell comes diving in with a left speared hard on the body. Edwards tries brawling with him but Dirrell leans back and lands a double right hook.

    Edwards is a solid B+ dude, but Dirrell outclassing him and cruising to an uneventful decision really teaches us nothing.

    If he wants to make a statement, Dirrell should find a way to (carefully! Intelligently!) get the stoppage. He is walking the "puncher" in the match-up down, after all.
