Jeff Page Jr will shock Artur Beterbiev tonight.

He got ko in 2 , why didn't he take him into the late rounds? Did he not stick to his gameplan? Or is he just really bad?

 

Hopefully Jeff is O.K. for the NFL combine in a few months!

 

Thankfully what you morons know about boxing isn't worth listening to or knowing so it's all good.

The 24 year old Page Jr. will learn from this fight and build on how he looked in the 1st round and the mistakes he made in the 2nd one against the near 30 year old Beterbiev.

A bit more seasoning and experience over the next couple of years and Jeff will come back a much more complete and composed fighter. He could do with also getting a more experienced trainer like Abel Sanchez who would have kept him grounded and focused during the corner break between the 1st and 2nd.

Either way, Jeff can still go on to have a good career and build himself up again towards a World title shot...he certainly has time on his hands compared to the likes of Beterbiev, Kovalev, Pascal and Hopkins who will all be over 30 next year.

Artur got caught off balance then he got ****ed and stream-rolled him.
Good thing for Page is that the stoppage was good and he didn't take too much damage.

 

Beterbiev didn't look too good in the 1st round.

I feel no need to temper any of my comments towards Jeff Page Jr or his supporters. I had nothing against the guy and it is great that he is working hard to achieve his dream but let's be honest the guy earned much of the venum cast his direction.

He and his team acted pretty disrespectful towards Beterbiev with several of their prefight rants and Page himself with his weird head flips and neurologic twitches during the weigh in and in the ring. For their accomplishments team Page sure acted very disproportional to what they brought to the table.

Only in Murica can you get smashed in two but exposed the other guy and suddenly have more future upside.
