When pac beat Chris, pactrolls where in here talking about how they should fight may 2nd, even though cotto vs Canelo was in talks. Now arum throws up this excuse and they blindly follow. Just a curtain for pactrolls to hide behind.

 

Floyd isnt fighting PAC, not sure why anyone still talks about it. After this many years youd think people would be tired of it.

Cotto-Canelo will be on May 2nd, and will outsellf whatever fight Floyd puts on if he decides to also fight on that date. I think he will back off though, no Mexican or PR is going to buy a Floyd fight over a Cotto-Canelo fight. Floyds numbers have already dropped so badly they dont release them anymore, and Arum wont play ball with him over the date unless Floyd makes large concessions.

I don't really understand...it's silly floyd will only fight on those dates, granted. They continuously say they're willing to do anything to make the fight happen but then as soon as floyd mentions a date it becomes a big deal. Floyd clearly doesn't want to give that date up, he gives it up if he doesn't fight pacquiao because theres no other opponent that can compete with it and it'd be stupid to have two big events on like that in one night.

Dan rafael seems to be very 2 faced, I could be wrong but i'm sure i recall on media days/press conferences he always **** licks floyd but then on twitter trolls him?

Arum is clearly creating a problem once again, i'm sure manny doesn't care about fighting may 2nd... arums had him fight hatton on that exact date before. It didn't seem to matter then.
Is nobody seeing a trend here, floyd comes out trys to talk about the fight, then arum comes out with problems why it can't happen, then weeks later/before will be saying they'l do anything to get him in the ring.

No need, if no ***** baby di ck Floyd dare to fight PAC even Cotto and Canelo will be honor to give Floyd the date. They all know Floyd is just barking but no bite.

 

Dan made no great points unfortunately. And I have nothing against him.

1st, the networks decision would not be between Pac-Floyd and Cotto-Canelo. Its is between Floyd-Khan and Cotto-Canelo. So his point about Top Rank being involved in both is dead wrong.

2nd, when asked directly if he believes Arum's BS about Mexicans, he dodges the question and says its more about GBP and HBO. If its about GBP and HBO instead of Arum, why is Arum injecting this rhetoric into the Pac-Floyd negotiations? Arum is playing this card harder then GBP are. Why? It doesnt make any sense.

Look, like I said I have nothing against Dan, but its pretty clear that he has taken the stance of not saying anything remotely negative about Arum.

 

There should be no contentions from Arum about May 2. Floyd has had this Cinco De Mayo weekend date for years. Canelo could not "take it back" in the ring, so he is trying to do it in the media. Granted Canelo vs Cotto is the biggest fight that can be made right now, besides Mayweather vs Pacquiao. But, it's nowhere near as significant or lucrative.

Arum is just trying to sabotage the fight....again. And Manny...surely he can't care about the date. However, because he does everything Arum says is, by extension, sabotaging the fight too.
