    But you mentioned better opposition...

Not what fights were the most exciting...

Alexander is clearly better than Adrien Broner. He also beat Maidana fairly easily.

Mayweather said a year ago he thought Khan was a big name in boxing. And now he's saying he's not a name after his dominant performance over Devon Alexander.

Mayweather is the biggest cowardly fraud in boxing.

He even needs advantages over B levels fighters like Maidana. And even then he struggles.

He knows Pac is the only one that can mess with Cotto-Canelo so im very happy Oscar and Bob are making Cotto-Canelo. that put some preesure on Floyd.

On the other hand, Mayweather wants this fight. theres not many fights left and why fight your $100 million fight then go back to 40 afterwards. I see May_pac 2 times next year and Floyd bounces. He planned it well. He might go for 50-0 but it doest matter who he fights and he ever make that money again

Cut the bull****e , Floyd has looked like **** in his last two fights against an OK fighter.

If this is the level he is now at Pacquiao knocks him out.

Actual ability isn't how I'm measuring the fighter's attractiveness to Floyd.

Ortiz and Maidana were selected largely on the basis that they were coming off of entertaining fights in which they were both regarded as underdogs.

Khan's win over Alexander hardly qualifies in either department.

Furthermore, Alexander past accomplishments have been somewhat diluted by his recent shortcomings. (loss to Porter and general unimpressive performances in recent bouts)

I think most legit boxing fans want to see the best fight the best.

I think the majority don't really care about viewing figures but just want to see the top fighters step in the ring.

All the atg fighters of the past never really cared about losing their 0 to the extent of Floyd.

I really don't give a damn if some so and so fight did poor numbers. If i enjoyed the fight it doesn't matter at all to me.

Khan is considered a threat and a lot of boxing fans want to see the fight. It's only the die hard fl0mos who are making excuses about Floyd not fighting him.

Why would you even care about viewing figures or PPV numbers if you aren't making money off it?

Better, not necessarily in terms of ability, but rather in terms of their 'production value'. Both Berto and Broner were coming off of title winning performances prior to facing Maidana and Ortiz. They also benefited from their status with the Networks which were providing both with preferential treatment. These are tangible promotable aspects that Floyd and his team look at.

Khan, IMO, needs a similar win to cement his attractiveness to Floyd.

Floyd wants it for the money. :deal:deal:deal He's tried to make this fight in 2009, 2012 and now 2015. But the excuses are already flowing from the Pac/Arum camp.

Still Money is looking for a way out, but he will loose much more than he realizes

There is little understanding at this point from a fan base that's supported, but received little in return lately.

its time to come to scratch, or scamper away a fraud.
    H hour is at hand.

Khan, for all intents and purposes, appears to have made himself to be Floyd's plan-B - mainly by talking his way up the ladder. It's pretty clear that Floyd will first investigate a Pacquiao fight. If he's unable to negotiate the lion's share that he's demanding then Khan will likely pinch-hit for Pac.
