the Mexicans command the majority of ppv buy's in US. if you're a businessman, you will have great respect for your customers. Having opened up this idea and going against it is a very very risky gamble. It is not exclusive for Mexican fighters since the fight is in the US and not in Mexico.

He had no problem matching up pacman against hatton and Mosley on cinco de mayo.

He obviously wants to try and maximize the amount of profit that can be made in the 2 biggest proposed fights for next year which is canelo-cotto and Floyd-pacman by having them not compete against one another on the same date.

That being said, this is the biggest super fight since hagler-Leonard. These guys are still considered in the top 2-3 P4P, it's exponentially more significant than Alvarez fighting cotto.

 

I don't actually know of any other recent gay boxers, so I had to settle on Little Paulie.

Now I'm sure there are other gay boxers who slip under the radar (SweethomeBama would be better informed on this subject) and furthermore, I don't know for a fact that Paulie is gay.

Cotto is smart. He knows Arum hates Mayweather and will do anything to get that May 2nd date so why not put in for a big, big payday. Think about it accept whatever Cotto's offer is or bend over and let Mayweather win. Mayweather has been fighting in those date for a long time and Arun is now using that it should go to Canelo due to it being a Mexican date even though Mayweather schooled Canelo. Come on people we should all know by now it is Arum stopping this fight to happen. He has many excuses. Remember, building a stadium, lol.
