And he ducked the blood tests with some very strange excuses.

 

Cinco de Mayo is Mayweathers date. Has been for a long while as he chooses that weekend for his fans including his Mexican fans. The Mayweathers have a long history with Mexico. There was a reason why Uncle Roger used to wear the sombrero into the ring and was known as the Mexican killer in jest. Bob Arum needs to understand that Pacquiao has 1 shot left to make this fight which they can take as Floyd has offered Pacquiao May the 2nd or forget it and lose the opportunity forever.

 

Everybody is getting obsessed about this date but with 365 days a year to play with why does anything HAVE to happen on that date? Another serious lack of flexibility by a certain somebody.

Floyd is saying he will fight Manny on May 2nd for two reasons...

1) So Canelo/Cotto gets moved to a later date.
2) When it does get moved to a later date, he will not face Manny or Amir.

Basically he is saying he will fight Manny on May 2nd because that date is in jeopardy due to Cotto/Canelo potentially happening. On e that fight gets moved, he'll fight anyone not named Manny or Amir for that matter.

It's a ploy/smokescreen to keep the May 2nd date, watch.

 

Paulie is a fool! He basically thinks because Pacquiao is small it means he doesn't have a big enough frame to move up so many weight classes like he has. But he doesn't realize that Pac has a bigger skeleton mass then most WW, Including Floyd.
