As Hopkins once said, as long as this scumbag lives, Mayweather - Pacquiao will never happen. Forget about it.

 

Roy jones shouldn't be criticizing anyone. He was a VERY cautious fighter during his prime, in fact he was one of the pioneers of P4P champions not always taking the big risk fights. Since him, there's been a domino effect with P4P stalwarts avoiding the big risk fights.

I find it hilarious because he's an HBO commentator. No one is forcing him to watch floyds fights, yet I guess he's staying up late enough to watch them, boring or not.

He probably looks at Floyd with much envy and jealousy, had jones actually had a good boxing skillset behind his otherworldly athleticism, than maybe he wouldn't have been such a faded fighter in his 30's. He also probably is really jealous with Floyds monetary gains per fight; in Jones' heyday with him calling ALL the shots as the A side fighter, he never made anything close to what mayweather makes per fight.

When it's all said and done, it doesn't really matter what jones thinks of Floyd. Floyd is already superior to him in the all time P4P rankings, has probably ten times the money jones has, and he's still relevant in his late 30's as boxings P4P best. Roy just sounds like a spoiled little brat.

 

I mean is this really even news? dLH hates mayweather for a multitude of reasons, I'd imagine his biggest beef is that Floyd has wiped out almost all of GB's stable of fighters.

Every year, DLH hypes up one of his fighters as the guy to take out Floyd, they end up losing badly and than DLH goes back to the drawing board.

He's a walking contradiction that shouldn't be taken seriously. After Floyd beat Mosley handily, Oscar said in the post fight that floyd is the greatest fighter of his generation and deserves his just due as that. He hates the guy, tries to materialize these hypejobs to fight against mayweather, he dominates them and than DLH praises him afterwards until he's ready to matchup another one of his hypejobs for a future bout with Floyd.
