It should also be mentioned that Pac absolutely wiped out most of the guys mentioned. Tbf Morales was fading, but no one else managed to destroy him like Manny did.

History will be much kinder to Pac's resume. 10,30,50 years from now, people won't be talking about how much money or PPV numbers so and so did.

Does anyone care how much money SRL, Hagler, Duran, Hearns, Benitez etc made? They only only care about their fights. That's legacy, not monetary BS.

I think Morales 1 & 2 was still a prime morales but close to fading. And btw Morales 1 had a huge impact for Manny. A lot more then people realise Manny became a much better boxer after that. Manny should say thank you to Morales after that lose. It forced him to learn and evolve as a boxer

and what a great fight. I was there - so awesome. I was rooting for Pac but Morales' performance was amazing. There was a point where he raised his gloves like Pac does, and the goofy smile on his face was hilarious. The HBO cameras missed his facial expression but I was looking straight at him. Then turning South Paw at th end - one of the most bad ass moments in boxing. I went to all three fights - wonderful. I would never have imagined that Pac would have accomplished all he has if you asked me after that first Morales fight.

Man your gonna get this sent to the whine thread. Listen I give Pac credit going through 8 division's is hard but most of his biggest wins were vs guy's looking like ****, coming off losses, debatable decsion's, devastating beatdowns, or just fake champs.

Mayweather has beaten the most champs in history been the reconized true #1 guy at every weight he's fought at, and beat the recognized #1 guy in every division.

You wanna compare top wins Hoya was coming off a win vs the #2/3 JMW to become the #1/2 rated JMW Champ. Morales lost the fight directly before MP-EM I and lost 5/6 STRAIGHT fights after EM-MP I.

Castillo/Marquez were both debatable fights the difference is Mayweather has a CLEAR/LEGITIMATE win over JLC Pac doesn't, Marquez is a HOFer his legacy is mostly tied to Pac. Castillo is considered the greatest LW of the generation, although JMM probably just got the KO of this generation.

For me it comes down to this both fight NAMES but one guy fights em coming off huge, FOTY, best of there career type wins, the other fights em coming off losses, debatable decisions, devastating beatdowns ect..

I think when they were working together a lot and Goldenboy supplied Floyd's opponents Oscar kept his mouth buttoned up because he didn't want to upset his business partner. Now that Schaefer ****ed him, joined Floyd, and took all of Oscar's top fighters to Al Hayman, Oscar has a right to be miffed. Floyd has been publicly taking Schaefer's side and bad mouthing Oscar.

Floyd has also been trying to drive a wedge between the newly minted partnership of Goldenboy and Top Rank. At least, I think that's what he's been doing, talking about wanting to fight Pacquiao on Cinco de Mayo weekend to disrupt the proposed fight date of Canelo Alvarez and Miguel Cotto.
