Has anyone seen his face whenever the name of Golovkin is brought up as an opponent for Froch? Fear doesn't cover it, it's more absolute dread. Watching him squirm is quite entertaining though, and his sudden obsession with American pay-per-view numbers only ever gets aired when a potential Golovkin-Froch fight gets mentioned too. Fights with Groves and Bute must have sold massively in America eh Eddie?
Tom Loeffler specifically mentioning Hearn as a guy who wants nothing to do with Golovkin, and Golovkin's willingness to travel for the fight, AND take it at 168, it all makes Hearn look less than confident in Froch's chances in that fight.

    Agreed.

Besides Wembley (which Carl should have got £20+ Million for), Eddie has done what for him that he couldn't do himself exactly?

Edward can't even make the Chavez fight!

To be fair, HBO told team Golovkin that a fight with Froch wouldn't be PPV. Hearn rightly said there's no way Froch will take a massive paycut to fight somebody so dangerous. 10 million, yes. 2 million, no.
He did describe a fight with Golovkin as "a horrible, horrible fight" though.

it doesn't matter how bute or groves sold in the states as froch wasn't looking to fulfill his last ambition in boxing or retirement. he wants that vegas headline and to get paid for it, they feel chavez fits the bill and ggg doesn't.

i disagree regards ggg, but attempts to paint froch as a ducker are as laughable as they were before groves 2 was agreed.

If anyone has the power to put Froch clean out it's going to be GGG, but Carl's chin and recovery powers are superhuman.

Same for GGG. If anyone will put him on the backfoot and duke it out with him, it'll be Froch.

Why should fans be expected to finance Froch's wishes and line his pockets in a fight as shameful as Chavez Jr? This isn't a charity, it's a sport, and Froch vs Chavez stinks.

    True. It's a pointless fight.

I'd rather see Carl face Kessler in Vegas.

if people don't wanna buy they don't have to, nobody is expected to finance anything.

it's always telling when you pick someone's argument apart and instead of addressing your response they switch arguments.

I don't know why you all seem to think GG will ko Froch ,, Carls bigger stronger with a renowned great chin .

We have not seen GG put under pressure yet and Carl will certainly do that , GG has just looked great because he's been allowed to.. For my money Froch nails him

Golovkin is yet to clean up his own division, to suggest he'll move up and dispatch a fighter who is renowned for his chin and heart is at best nonsensical, the haters need to to curb their enthusiasm, I'm afraid big nose is just too big and to worldly for GGG to cruise past.

Does anyone know what weight ggg walks around at? Froch is one of the very few major fighters who walks around near his fight weight all year round. The chances him and ggg will be very similar in size although we don't know how effective he can carry the power up to 168. At this level stopping fighters at 160 and 168 are two very different things.

Personally I would give froch a good chance of beating golovkin I see it as a real 50/50 type affair. It would do amazing things for frochs legacy
