Besides, wasn't Floyd willing to fight Pac back in 2010 in MARCH?

Why is it an issue now?

I'm Mexican and didn't vote because I dont care if Mexicans fight on that Cinco de Mayo date or any other nationality, as long its a big boxing event, is all that matters, so celebrate.

Arum said that "its disrespectfull to fight on that date" because he's avoidng the Floyd vs Pac fight , so he's delaying it.

As a matter of fact, it makes Floyd & Pac look bad for them, to fight on a Mexican holiday, because it shows that Floyd and Pac need Mexican support & fans to make a big PPV showing.

It makes Floyd look bad, because it shows that Floyd does not have many black fans, that he needs to turn to Mexican fans.
Thus, making Floyd a "wanna-be" Mexican.

After all, Floyd has wore Mexican colors and Mexican sombrero to the ring many times.
I think thats disrespectfull to his black fans and black heritage.:huh

citing arum shows you're asking specifically, and many consider it floyd's date. he is pertinent to this discussion.

    Bob's got a point

Having Canelo-Cotto on Cinco de Mayo will boost this fight's numbers
Pac-May can happen any Saturday and the number won't change. I think if Pac-May happens on Cinco de Mayo, there might be boycotting of this fight from the Latinos now since this situation has come to light

BTW, here's a quote from the biggest floyidiot:

"Bob Arum is absolutely right in saying that Cinco de Mayo weekend should be reserved for Alvarez and Cotto," admits Stephen A. Smith of ESPN. "That's like Floyd wanting to fight during Black History Month, and two Hispanic fighters trying to move him out of the way. That's not right. So Bob Arum is absolutely right about that."

What's funny is it's not a national Mexican holiday. Did Mexico get conquered twice that they have two independence days? :rofl:rofl:rofl The excuses never stop from Pac/Arum. Ask Smith when Pac v Hatton fought.

Pacquiao vs Hatton and Pacquiao vs Mosley must have happened in April and June

The Pac/mayweather bout never going to be made so Arum is right. Its a correct business decision. Why try to change a date from a fight that everyone knows Mayweather is ducking.

BTW that same FloydIdiot also said that if Mayweather insists on May 2, then Arum needs to deal with it and make the fight happen.

I saw that show. Don't post bits and pieces of what he said just to make your point.

    Floyd 2014: "Let's fight"

Pac/Arum 2014: Disrespectful to fight on Cinco de Mayo weekend, a [non] Mexican holiday

Pac fans 2014: Let's suck Manny and Bob's cawk more. Floyd is poaching Cinco de Mayo weekend, why is he demanding May 2? He knows it's disrespectful to the Mexican people.

    WHO IS DUCKING AGAIN? :rofl:rofl:rofl

I said it before and I will say it again. Until contracts are signed I don't wanna hear a damn thing about what date belongs to who.

First come first served. End thread.
