    Boxers have enormous egos.
If their name is headlining the show(them vs whoever - in that order) & they come out 2nd they're classed as the A-SIDE
Stuff like that prevents fights, if both think they're the A-SIDE.
Last example of this was Cotto complaining like a lil girl when he fought Martinez.

Without anywhere near the demand for the flght. No matter who, it would sell no where near as well.

Floyd is the 'A-side', but not by much. He can't behave like he could against Maidana or Guerrero because the demand is for both fighters here, and both fighters can individually make great money.

Haye demanded top billing also when he was due to meet Fury.

Really not comparable imo. Haye is a clear clear A-side in that fight, the demand was largely to see Haye.

Here the demand is to see the mega fight, and that doesn't happen without both fighters.

Lost quite a bit of respect for Paulie over this.

I personally believe Wlad, Floyd and Juan Manuel Marquez have cheated but I don't know for sure, I have no real proof so I am not biased against them and I would never publicly say something like Paulie said in the OP's quote because it's totally unfair to be biased against them or make these statements/insinuations when there is no proof.

If they truly believe Floyd is ducking, they can sign for May 2nd, send him the contract and call his bluff.

Flamos readying their excuses. If Floyd insists on May 2, it's a duck. FACT!!! There is NO REASON WHATSOEVER that Pacquiao-Mayweather should happen on May 2. Against any other opponent for Floyd, yes. Against Pac, NO.

    :deal

Why? They're trying to make Canelo-Cotto for May 2. That fight NEEDS the additional backing of a traditional fight weekend.

Flamos talking about contracts, but think Floyd's 30 second phone call was a legitimate offer. Priceless how dumb you phux are.

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl:patsch

What Arum is doing is increasing the amount for Pacman and himself.
Why would he do the following:

    1. Take 25% for Pacquaio
    2. Make less money on his fighter Cotto in Cotto vs. Canelo
    3. Give Mayweather his May 2nd date vs. Dethrone him with Cotto and Canelo
    4. Upset HBO by not siding with them just to make Pac vs. Mayweather...

    ?

If the money isn't right, he is not about to give up all of the above just to make the fight. Mayweather has to give some extra funds, and not ask for all he is asking for to be honest, or the fight doesn't get made.

If Arum upset's HBO, where is he going to go? Showtime....?

Obviously not exclusively for Mexican fighters but obviously it makes sense for a Mexican to be fighting on that day.
