Radivoje Kalajdzic is a 6'2 24 year old Light Heavyweight with a 20-0 13 KO's record. Born in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but considers himself a Serbian (they share a border) and he's currently living in and in and fights out of Saint Petersburg, Florida which is ion the Tampa area. He had a brutal start to his young life he was literally born into war, born during the multiple wars in the Balkans during the 1990's, the majority of his life was spent until the age of 7 going from one refugee camp to another. His father was a boxer in Yugoslavia but at his wife insistence he gave up his career to help raising the kids and Radivoje is picking up where his father left off. He played with boxing gloves as a child and his favorite movie is Rocky, so he was kind of born to be a boxer. Rad who is very Americanized is somewhat atypical for an Eastern European fighter, he has a tendency to want to fight on the outside and counter his opponents, or shoot in his jab from his awkward orthodox position like a missile, I'm not sure how far he'll go even though he 's on the watch list of some, I think his lack of power may hurt him in this terrifying division, but if he can work out some of his foibles and learn to set down on his punches and become a little more accurate he may turn into a real threat, after all he is still quite young. Check Out Radivoje The Hot Rod of St. Pete in Action. :deal::deal::deal::deal:

Postscript: Hot Rod had hi first big match on US TV, really big NBC, and he was brutally robbed, he beat Marcus Browne 6-2 or 5-3 and even managed knocked Browne down hard and almost stop him, Browne shamefully held almost as many times as Wlad did against Povetkin only in a far shorter 8 round match. And in the end he lost a SD that clearly should have won.

A unbeaten Bosnian who lives in your neck of the woods? How could you resist?

Still he's going about things the right way - Lonnie B, Rayco (though I think he's getting past it now) and Triple OG (LOL - shouldn't Ogogo have dibs on that one or should Anthony be OG x 2.5?:think) are the kinda names you want on your resume at this point.

As you say, the kid's swimming out into shark infested waters but he looks canny enough to do OK, I just doubt he's gonna near a strap given the overabundance of talent working its way up through the division.

Because he's from my neck of the woods I really want him to be a force, but sadly:-( I just don't see it at LHW. That's why I held off on doing a thread on him, but he could become formidable, and become the next.... Fonfara? Maybe.:think
