Half of the worlds top professional fighters are under Haymons management. The man is here to stay so you might as well learn to deal with him.

I never put money on a boxing match before but I think I will make easy money on Stiverne this time. I little bit like putting money Alibaba on the first day (which I told my wife I would but I didn't and 40% of what I would have put).

Stiverne is already "champion" by beating Arreola for the vacant strap. If it ends in a (technical) draw, Stiverne just keeps the belt and there would probably be a rematch.
Of course Fury would be one of them if you had the choice.
Out of boxing would be better.

Wilder is not a joke just because he hasn't yet faced great opposition. Kovalev was pretty much a nobody until last year where he beat Cleverly and took his first belt, look where he is now.

Wilder KO'd 32 of his 32 opponents, among them are 1 olympic gold medalist(Harrison), 1 former WBO champion(Liakhovich - never had an early KO until Wilder) and 1 top 20 fighter (Malik Scott), all got KO'd in the first round. So although he's not been thoroughly proven himself, he's certainly promising.

On the other hand, Stiverne too, was pretty much a nobody, until his two bouts with a top fighter like Arreola, where he won the vacant belt and became a contender. So this fight will give both fighters a chance to prove themselves worthy of being a Wlad challanger.

I root for Wilder, I hope he wins this one and fights Anthony Joshua some day. That will be a great fight to watch.

    My conclusion:

Stiverne is certainly not the most skilled heavyweight out there, but he hits like a monster. He dropped iron hearted and granite chin Arreola with a punch that would have knocked any other contender out immediately.

I think he is the hardest puncher out of there next to Wladimir Klitschko.

If Wilder got wobbled by a Firtha jab, or dropped by obese Worm Nichols, he won't survive a single punch from this guy. Stiverne is a monster puncher, no jaw in modern boxing can survive his right hand.

IMO Stiverne's power comes mainly from his ability to counter and hit his opponent when they don't expect it.

He can't him them at will, he's not an aggressive forward type fighter. But when he sets up his trap and gets you when you're unprepared he can be devastating. It stands to reason windmilling Wilder won't be experienced enough to avoid getting countered by Stiverne.

Arreola had a broken bone in his hand early in that fight, so that fight isn't the best indicator of Stiverne's qualities. First Arreola fight or Ray Austin fight should give a better view. His main prowess is his punching speed.

Stiverne wont be champ for long. He's already been stopped once and held to a draw. Its just an indication of how far Arreola is away from world class. Neither really are. Isn't Stiverne like 38 already? He wont do anything against taller boxers as his game plan is to stand still and counter. He has no real movement and gets hit.

Stiverne's very heavy handed. I might be one of the few here, who thinks he'd stop Povetkin in 6 rounds.

I would be shocked if Wilder knocks him out. He only has a punchers chance, but nothing more.

Stiverne is a top 5 HW, while Wilder is not even top-20. Wilders best win is Scott who took a dive.

i agree that's why i said stiverne is more proven but both not proven

its a fifty-fifty fight i have watched loads of tapes of stiverne he looks solid but he is open for the right hand anyway we will see but if wilder pulls this of it not some massive feat that's what i am trying to get at.
