I've just rewatched this great fight and how the hell didn't Tyson get disqualified? He must have hit Ruddock with over a dozen seriously hard low blows, he also got deducted 3 points in the fight yet continued doing them.

No he shouldn't have gotten dq'ed...if he had incapacitated Ruddock where he couldn't have continued boxing maybe, but no otherwise...maybe the ref should have penalized him every time even, but no to the dq.

So basically if Ruddock had screamed blue murder like Bowe did he would have got the victory.

No, it was a rough fight and Ruddock was no angel in it either.

Everything Ruddock did was reactive to what Tyson did, Tyson fouled like crazy that night.

Wass what is it with you and Tyson? Some repressed physical attraction to him? Weird to say the least, and quite boring too.

Mills Lane was the ref. I think Tyson was flirting with a DQ. You could say another fighter would be warned once, twice, and DQ’d on the third foul. But this was Tyson. He was the establishment cash cow winning an ugly fight.

No word of a lie he hit Ruddock more times below the belt than Golota did against Bowe, the only difference is that Razor didn't go down. It's as though Ruddock thought **** it, I'll take anything you have to give.

Yea but Tommy Morrison knocked Ruddocks ass out..

And Lennox even slammed him harder than Morrison...

And why do folks cry ***** and whine about Holyfield's so called dirty tricks in his 2 fights with Tyson , when Mike fought dirty his WHOLE CAREER:deal..

If you can dish it out YOU BETTER BE ABLE TO TAKE IT:deal

You don't think so? So I your opinion Golota deserved it but Tyson didn't?

yea, Golota was warned in both fights and he threw away 2 dominant wins. He gave the ref no choice. Golota should have known better, Tyson was the $$$ fighter and the highly connected fighter it was like disqualifying Ali for holding. Rudduck also played rough

I dont like DQ's but there are excessive cases Golota crossed the tipping point
