Golovkin has recently stated he would be interested in fighting froch either in the uk or in vegas!!! Froch keeps stating he only wants to fight in vegas. So no excuses it can be made he gets the chance to fight in vegas and victory would he huge for his legacy. If its his last fight there is no risk because he wont be defending his titles again and it will still be a huge payday but as he keeps saying its about fighting in vegas so the money should not be an excuse.

I don't believe there would be no interest, I agree the Chavez fight makes more money but if that cant be made, who else is bigger than golovkin for him to fight in vegas
GGG has a **** resume though so how the hell would beating him make Froch an ATG? GGG would just be called a hypejob afterwards.
Froch looking for 2 easy pay days and no desire to take a chance with GGG. Easy fights against Degale and Groves are more likely.
Froch would get no credit as already stated due to GGG resume. Before the Lacy fight everyone and his dog was hyping up Jeff Lacy and almost all sites and papers picked Lacy by devastating KO, Lacy was an unbeaten upcoming monster!!!. After the fight he was a hypejob who had not really beaten anyone, thats what REALLY happens.
He already is an ATG, one of the best british boxers ever goes without saying. GGG isn't even the same weight as him so pointless talking about it, if they did fight Froch would HAVE to be the favourite, you would have to favour him cause he is the proven super middle, there is weight divisions for a reason you don't know how effective a fighter will be when they move up in weight. I really don't see the point in many discussions on this forum.. Lomachenko - Rigo, Kovalev- Ward, Froch -GGG. Seems like haters are just begging to look for someone to beat the boxers they hate.. so they have to look in a different weight class .
Not sure he could beat GGG and I'm not sure beating Golovkin would make him an ATG anyway. Seems Froch is (understandably) looking for an easy last fight, won't even fight DeGale at this point never mind GGG by the looks of things.
HBO have already said they won't consider Froch v Golovkin as a PPV event. That's why Hearn and K2 dismissed the fight.
I absolutely agree. I honestly think GGG is hiding something. Why else would he be so content in just mopping up a lackluster MW division? If he and his team were so confident in him, they'd accept a challenge at 168 and come in weighing whatever they like. GGG doesn't seem keen to step up to 168 and fight anyone at all let alone Froch. Bute was the massive favorite and look what happened to him. Froch has proven himself time and time again, consistently fighting the very best in the division regardless of whether it means he has to travel or not. Froch too is one of the biggest hitters in the sport, and we know he's got it at SMW. Another good way of looking at it: do you think GGG's opposition to date would last as long against Froch at 168? I think if anything, Froch would get rid of them sooner.... Mark my words here, the bookies will get this wrong, just as they did with Bradley vs Marquez (they had JMM as the favorite when I think stylistically, Tim was by far the more likely to win). They'll all buy into the hype and unjustifiably put GGG as a favorite. Stepping up to SMW right now is different than stepping up in any other class. The top guys there are supremely conditioned to the weight; haven't jumped around like the top dogs in other weight classes and know exactly how to make the weight.
