Has to be one of the most entertaining fighters in the UK at the moment, never in a boring fight and a cracking lad.

    How far can he go?

European title I think is possible.

Exciting domestic level fighter - no more unless Hearn plots a very clever route to a European or something like that...that's not taking into consideration a probable fight/loss to Campbell

If brian Rose and paul smith can get world title shots I can't see why coyle can't at some point

He is not world class in my opinion, European definitely.

I'm not sold on the Campbell fight, fear he is cashing in too early when he could allow Eddie to build him a path to a title then fight Luke

The money for the Campbell fight is not life changing that's my worry, if he avoids Campbell it keeps Hull as a viable city for Eddie to promote shows from with two "live" prospects. Once Luke becomes bigger Hull will be off the radar as it doesn't have a big enough venue other than stadiums and that is not viable for every fight

Probably a different thread topic but I see what your saying and I would add Lee Purdy to that list. Luckiest fighter to get a world title shot?..

The current indoor arena holds around 4k which is enough for coyle/mcdonnell bros and some other locals

I agree but my worry is that if a coyle loses and Eddie drops him and just focuses on Campbell then Hull won't be a mainstay for sky as Campbell potentially would command bigger venues as his opposition, title fights progress. I'm not sure Eddie will keep tommy on after the Luke fight (if he loses)

Coyle sells a lot of tickets so can't see him getting binned straight away, entertaining undercard fighter at worse who sells tickets, worst case scenario he's hulls frank buglioni

Eddie wont get rid of Tommy regardless due to him making Eddie very good money for the reason mentioned at the start, him never being in a boring fight. Sells loads of tickets and could always be on Lukes undercard in future event and could capably win European title and a world title shot is always possible as Eddie is very clever at getting his fighters into positions to fight for world titles.

the reality as seen in his fight with the romanian campbell dealt with easily is he will take punishment in very fight, therfore at least against luke he will earn a few quid.

Relly hope he does well as as others have said a great fella to watch and one im always rooting for as has so much heart.Honest as well in terms of his ability a rarity in this sport.

Purdy was a late replacement so can't really count him in the same breath as the other two who 'earnt' their shot

Rubbish. When Campell wins a title he won't get a shot just like Jon Thaxton never got a shot at Amir Khan when he won a title. Strike the iron while it's hot and see what happens.

Good fights should never be left to rot seen it so many times boxing is an unpredictable game and big fights can easily be ruined.
