Khan has never beaten Lamont Peterson.

Alexander was no doubt top 10 at WW but Collazo really was "fringe-top-10" at the very best.

Either way Maidana and Kotelnik were in the majority of top 5's when Khan defeated them.

Khan's problem isn't who he's fought, it's his glass jaw.

Collazo was fringe top 20s more like, before the ortiz win i remember seeing him at about 50th on boxrec
Alexander could be placed anywhere from 11th to 15th

Maidana wasn't even a world champ, had no good wins over proven fighters so no way was he top 5

Got to laugh at this whole post.

    1. Lamont Peterson was not considered top 5 going into the fight.
    2. Amir Khan did not beat him
    3. Collazo was definitley not top 10 when Khan beat him
    4. Devon Alexander being top 10 is also very debatable.

I posted the link to Ring Mag rankings.

I also remember how people viewed the division.

But whatever you want to believe, go for it.

Hate to break it to you but Khan was the king at 140 at the end of 2010 and before his breakdown in 2011...

He was mean't to fight for the undisputed #1 spot against Bradley but Timothy had other plans and ran to 147 to fight Pacquiao after an ugly fight against Alexander. ;)

Are you saying Bradley was wrong for fighting Pacquiao instead of Khan?

And Khan never surpassed Bradley at 140 even before Bradley unified with Alexander to further cement that.

You are too dumb to realize that Khan did not fight these guys end of 2014. Your ridiculous attempt at berating is based on end of 2014 ratings for all the ones I checked.

You are too much of an idiot to realize that back when Khan fought Kotelnik and Maidana they were top 5 in 2009 and 2010.

    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/The_Ring_Magazine's_Annual_Ratings:_Junior_Welterweight--2010s

Nice try, but you get an 'F' for failed attempt!

Kotelnik - the weakest world paper champ ever was probably 7th , 8th. 6th max

the laughing stock of boxing Queen Khan has never ever beaten a top 5 fighter - fact :deal :hi:

    1. ok. That was just what i thought. explains why the question mark is there.
    2. it was clear by many he beat lamot.
    3. OK. Top 20s.
    4. ring magazine, boxrec, fightnews had him ranked top 10. no way guerror was above him. Alexander last performance was much better.

Bradley was always ranked ahead of Khan at 140. Never did Khan eclipse him or even come close despite Bradley's relative inactivity.

He clearly surpassed him before Khan lost when he beat Alexander, no?

Either way, Khan's best victories are over, in no order: Kotelnik (top 5 JWW), Maidana (top 5 JWW), and Alexander (top 10 WW). Next up would be Malignaggi (top 10 JWW) and then Judah (top 10 JWW, right outside top 5 at the time IIRC)... Everybody can rank everything differently, but it's quite clear this thread is at best just a tad untrue.

...not really. Not at all, actually.

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Bradley, Marquez, Brook, Porter, Thurman, Maidana, Guerrero....... and then who? Most had Alexander above Guerrero at least from that above list. It seemed like Alexander was generally placed at 8th or 9th going into the Khan fight.
