Every single time Welliver came into the clinch area he pounded on the kidneys and liver of Ustinov.....not a few clinches here and there.....every single time. This is what got Ustinov ****ed at the end of the 5th when he pulled his illegal Judo moves. Chauncy was busting him up to the body. Ustinov took the worst punishment in the fight. He'll be ****ing blood for weeks from the brutal body assault Chauncy laid on him. And you f'n ****....go to the end of the video.....tell us what the live crowd response was for Welliver. In Moscow, Welliver wins over the crowd like Rocky Balbao vs Drago. The paying fans cheered his effort like crazy. 12 of 44 is the compubox stats given in this thread. That is the biggest joke ever. Whoever was counting has a fried mind and whoever thinks the number is accurate after watching is as fried as the counter. So what do you say Boston B Boy? What does the crowd do for Chauncy...do they cheer him for fighting a competitive fight.....or do they boo a guy who threw 44 punches in 8 f'n rounds? F....I'm the biggest fan of Chauncy not named Welliver in this world....if he ever threw 44 punches in 8 rounds I'd boo him too. But those stats are bogus as can be. He landed over 44 shots in some rounds. 12 of 44 is perhaps accurate in terms of 1 of his slowest rounds of the night. He threw well over 800 shots. Landed several hundred. Open your eyes fool.
Where are you at Boston B Boy? What does the crowd do for Welliver? Cheer or Boo? And what about Ustinov....why is he so frustrated and ****ed off the entire fight and afterwards? He barely even wants to shake hands, acts like a **** the whole time...is semi embarrassed of the whole situation, Why? Because Chauncy hung right in with him on extremely short notice and entered the ring with a still busted up eye...f'd him up to the body, and did not fight at all like a man brought in to lose and be accepting of it. Chauncy brought it to Ustinov and never stopped doing so the whole fight. Ustinov was made to recognize his punching power aint **** when coming against a top HW chin. Chauncy at the very low end of his readiness showed he was close to par with the totally training and totally prepared Ustinov. Chauncy was happy go lucky after the fight himself. A good sportsmen throughout the match. Ustinov was a poor sport the whole way and after. Chauncy mind f'd him like crazy. Ustinov will never forget the fat guy who showed up and ruined his easy night. The crowd even cheered more for Chauncy than for him. Welliver proved he is the real life Rocky Balboa. Drago got mentally broken down.
I counted 8 landed shots, 3 to the body, and 5 upstairs out of 21 in the first rd. Ustinov clearly and cleanly outlanded Chauncey throughout, but it's OBVIOUS, unless Chauncey didnt throw the entire rest fo the fight, the stats are skewed. atsch
12 out of 22 for Chauncey in the 2nd but yeah, mostly pitterpattering to the body. One solid jab and one well placed R hook OH. One sided fight for sure, but Chauncey's just fighting to support his family guys. His heart is with Lemyn and Sarah. His love for boxing takes a distant back seat. It was obvious after the close fight with Williams that his days of 235 and throwing 100 ppr were over. :think
On a side note..... Had the Ustinov we saw recently in the CHisora camp and in this stay busy fight, showed up for Pulev........:think:think:think:think This guy is floating like a butterfly. Can't tell if the powers still there, but a Sherman Tank couldn't knock out Welliver with turrets blazing so we'll need a different measuring stick. Bring on Thompson or Takam. See if Ustinov is an improved fighter or merely looks more the part. :think

Obviously not as much as Messy with his tabulation of "hundreds" rofl) - since by your count of 3 on the body in the 1st extrapolated over eight comes to a mere 24 (and that would be assuming, rather generously and incorrectly, that your 3 counted were the average Chauncy was on pace to keep up over the contest, when in fact his work rate actually dropped as it went on, spending many of the late rounds serving as human punching bag) - well short of "hundreds" - but still. :good Every time Welliver's glove brushes Ustinov's body pushing or scrabbling for a clinch is hardly a countable scoring "body shot". :nono I think Messy literally counted every second of contact between any part of Ustinov and Welliver's gloves as being an individual "punch". atsch Even then, "hundreds" seems a bit far-fetched.
It was one of the fittest Chisora that ever stepped into a ring. Only because Fury's defence, stance, activity and jab didn't let him do anything, it doesn't mean that he couldn't.
I'll watch it again and count them all. The body attack picked up from the 1st. I will count up and give times for hundreds of brutal body shots as Welliver lands them at will on Ustinov.
A body shot's a body shot. Nothing Chauncey throws anymore is brutal. Or for that matter damaging to a quality, much less world class HW. Im a fan, you gotta know that. But Chauncey was once upon a time, a huge volume puncher who could throw 100 ppr and earn their respect of his opposition by taking 1 thunderous blow to land 3-4 solid but not powerful shots of his own, thus winning him fights on the C level. That said, I made my point about the stats being skewed. RJJ did little to trouble Johnny Ruiz in the way of hurting him, and Jr was considered something of a puncher, and was very well built at 193. However, his shots barely fazed Ruiz, who aint exactly Ollie McCall. And While Roy certainly outlanded Ruiz almost 5-1 if I recall, the pitterpatter potshotting was being scored as ineffective as it was. Not saying Chauncey and Roy belong in the same sentence, but a punch is a punch. Don't matter how effective it is when it's merely being tabulated. :think

What ever happened to Ustinov-Kimbo Slice? I was really looking forward to that fight but I guess negotiations broke down
