Anybody who says GGG is a fanboy

Crawford is a good pick. Sergey Kovalev and Roman Gonzalez are acceptable picks as of now also

Wel.. OK.. He knocked 2 guys out who werd supposed tot cause him soms kind of trouble, but it ended rather quickly. I think we will truly value GGG when he takes the lineal title or beats a good opponent @ 168

rofl at pacquiao runner up, I guess he deserves runner up for beating a guy that drew with chaves, and a guy that lives and eats avocado in his parents basement.

As opposed to beating Gamboa a blown up Featherweight who's been dropped several times and looked horrible in his past 5 or 6 matches.

Beltran who while I like him, is far from even being close to a top fighter, and happens to lose virtually everytime he steps up.

And Ricky Burns who happened to lose to Beltran Crawford and Zlaticanin in the same year, because he sucks and always has.

Crawford is being brutally overhyped by a lot of people on this site and HBO.

It's Roman Gonzalez or Inoue. Picking GGG or Kovalev are complete fanboy picks.

Kovalev would have been my answer.

Chad Dawson beat Hopkins, so, how great is that win for Kovalev really?

Chad barely beat Hopkins in a sloppy unpleasant MD, Kovalev dominated him for 12 rounds, dropped him and nearly killed him in the 12th. Big difference.

Naturally smaller men if he does that to Matthysse than I'll be impressed

Your logic to not give Crawford the award, also goes against Kovalev getting it. Crawford fought three legit top 10 guys. Kovalev fought one top 10 guy, and two nobodies.

He had Hopkins on unsteady legs, but I wouldn't call that nearly killed. Hopkins was no more hurt in my opinion, then he was when Pascal had him on unsteady legs.

No, it really isn't. Hop is 50 years old and has looked it. People are just fools. Kovalev beating Hop is not as impressive as Gonzalez beating a PRIME Yaegashi and Crawford beating a PRIME Gamboa. Excuse me if I'm not impressed with Hopkins beating Cloud, Shumenov, and Murat.

My vote goes to The Krusher. I don't think anyone predicted he would outbox and shut out Hopkins, who I think has at least 2 more good fights in him.

Anyone voting Pac is either a fanboy, trolling/having a laugh, or genuinely doesn't know what the hell they are talking about.

Exactly. The year ain't over and we still have fights left. This award was premature.
