I like the guy but he would'nt move up to 168 to fight Ward because he is not a PPV fighter yet he is going to fight JCC who hasn't been active enough? :patsch

Chavez has been so underrated on this forum, he's a tough fight for anyone when he's motivated, as far as the point of the thread, he needs to beat a few notable SMW's before going after the top guy, you're just being silly, and we don't even know what Ward is doing or planning on doing in the near future, I think Ward should finally move up and face Kovalev, so how do you like them apples.

GTFOH with that cr*p. JCC is not even the top guy in the SMW division. My point of the thread is GGG is avoiding a guy who is a threat to him yet he has no problems calling out a champ (Cotto- who IMO should just vacate the MW title).

No you're trying to make GGG look like a b***h, he's a Middleweight, Cotto should have thought his decision over a little bit before moving up, now he's champ let him defend.
Golovkn still has many challenges at MW and when he cleans out that division maybe he can try his hand at another, maybe test the waters with an Abraham or Kessler, Ramirez or Groves before jumping right in with a Ward or Froch. Boxing fans expect far too much too soon with most fighters.

Chavez Jr isn't in the top 10 at Super Middle so that's disappointing.

I understand the business side of it all and it does make amazing sense.

However as far as best fights to be made as far as pure ranking the victory relevance than Chavez is quite far down the list.

Cherry picker or not, the man isn't in this sport to impress nobodies. He's here to make money. Chavez Jr. clearly and easily provides the most money available for him to consider. Ward has been inactive and completely forgotten and that's his own problem.

another genius trying to pretend ward is a viable opponent for anybody.

can you illustrate where cst80 stated jr is the top guy at 168?

If your'e using the fact that one opponent, Andre Ward, is not really being considered over the next year or so (for eminently good reasons - including his lack of availability) to call someone a cherry picker you probably have an agenda.

You know who else wants to fight inactive Chavez Jr?
    Inactive Andre Ward:lol:
I think there's more morons on this forum p4p than there are on youtube comment section.

JCC Jr's side send K2 a contract and GGG signed it and sent it back.
Maybe Ward's team should do the same. I guess he'd have to stop taking them to court first:rofl
2 tune ups=Another wasted year for Ward when ever he does decide to fight again.

    This.

Plus, GGGs last opponents (Geale and Rubio) were probably the best non-titlists out there to fight - especially as the other champs won't fight him.

You can't blame GGG for picking guys who offer big paychecks. That's not ducking, that's not cherrypicking, that's just how business works. Chavez Jr. might not be the top guy in the division but he's the biggest paycheck because he brings tons of hispanic PPV money. End of story.
