If Canelo learns english will he be the next ppv star?

    He has the style
    He has the looks
    He is likable
    He already has his own trademark
    He comes from the second best boxing country with a population of 120 million plus the 35 million Mexican Americans

    Even though I know Cenelo will lose some future fights Oscar proved that you don't have to be undefeated to be the biggest ppb Star.


    All he needs to do is learned English to reach American fans and international fans on a personal level.

    I know Spanish, Canelo is very mature for his age. More mature than Broner and Khan easily. He is charismatic like Floyd but he is definitely more entertaining than Cotto, a little goofy like cotton but not as much as Pac man

    He needs to get a real trainer and get back to the gym and work on some things. We will see how he progresses.

    That's not to say I think he will be PPV number 1 but money wise he is already a top 5 fighter in the sport and getting bigger.

    Well unless he dominates opponents then no. Whenever canelo fights a guy close to his level he never really wins impressively. Trout, lara and ofcourse got schooled by mayweather.

    He looks like a beast against guys like angulo or josesito lopez but again top level guys he doesn't.

    Pac and mayweather dominated top level guys.

    he is still very young, he is almost guaranteed to be a star at this point, but certainly reaching the level of english of a GGG would certainly help.. i actually prefer broken english

    He has a pleasing style and doesn't hide away from tough fights so he will gain a lot of respect from hardcore fans but I just don't see him as a massive star like Tyson, de la hoya or Mayweather.
    I don't like his attitude tho, seems like a spoiled brat.
    Also wtf does it matter about his looks? I highly doubt 700k women will purchase a $60 ppv cause they like his looks! And he's a f'n ginger with no soul! Seriously tho, you're a man and shouldn't concern yourself with a boxers "looks" leave that to the yellow stains. (Pacturds)
