Outside Floyd there isn't a fight out there that really enhances Pacquiaos legacy

Beating any of the guys at 140-147 don't really do much

 

Not really Pacquiao has never really beat JMM so that isn't better, Morales was in the middle of a 1 win 6/7 loss streak so that isn't better, and Barerra was thinking about retiring after a brain surgery. The only guy between the three that was in real top condition was Marquez and Manny arguably lost every fight vs JMM.

Wins over Hoya who was past prime but still the #1 JMW Champ, JLC the greatest LW of this era, and Corrales prime P4P Champ are better.

 

Pac will go down as a greater boxer than Mayweather, whether they fight or not.

He will be remembered better due to the excitement he has brought to boxing.

 

No debate from those that have at least half a brain.
For that reason you will see that those posting otherwise are severely handicapped in the grey matter department.

 

Na mayweather will be remembered as the greater boxer h2h but PAC achieved more IMO.

Barrera was thinking about retiring ? So what was he doing ? Training for 12 weeks thinking,don't know if Im going to try in this fight because I might retire soon,which he didn't anytime soon after the fight anyway.plus the fact he was world champion on an impressive streak at the time.i won't go into the rest but wake up

 

He's the better h2h but he refuses to go h2h with pac,even tho it will quadruple the money he can earn for any other fight and the whole boxing world has been calling for it for 5 years,sorry I'm not having that one

 

I don't think it's even debatable. Pac has the best resume of any active boxer. Barrera x2, Morales x2, Marquez, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley and Bradley are all stand out wins for Pac.

Compare that to Mayweather's best wins in Hernandez, Castillo, Corrales, Gatti, Judah, De La Hoya, Hatton, Mosley, Cotto, Marquez and Maidana. You can see at welter their resumes are similar but below that Pac's wins over Barrera and Morales take his resume to the next level. It's close but it's clear that Pac has a better overall record due to the 2 greats names earlier in his career.

 

I actually think the first Barerra win is a great win for Pac Barerra is one of the few top names that wasn't coming off a recent ass whipping, and was on an extended winning streak.

If it came off as me downplaying that win my bad. Barerra II on the other hand was pointless, JMM in a lot of opinion won 3/4 fights with Pac a loss or robbery isn't a great win. An a guy with 1 win in 8 fights isn't a great win.

Manny is an ATG because of his division titles and excitement, but factually most of his biggest wins are vs guys coming off losses, robbery wins, KO beatdowns, and all around ****ty performances. Which is partly why I give Floyd more credit one thing you can say is he fights top guys coming off top wins.

All Time Morales is wayyy better than a Baldomir.
But Baldomir on a 8 yr unbeaten streak and the undisputed Champ is a better win than Morales who was 1W-6/7L before retiring for 1/2 yrs.

 

Pac is ducking the top Welters, Brook would be a makeable fight and would do far better than Jessie Vargas.

 

People thought Martinez would ko Cotto, look how that turned out. He was injured and shot to ****. They deserve little credit. And no, Pac should not have climbed THREE weight classes.

 

I don't see why people act like this opinion is so shocking by everyone's admission JMM, Morales, & Barerra are his best wins but

JMM I-Draw
JMM II - bit of a robbery but close enough that its debatable.
JMM III - unquestionable robbery
JMM IV - KO loss
EM I - coming off a loss
EM II - coming off another loss
EM III - still coming off loss this time to Pac
MAB I - good win
MAB II - coming off a loss

In 9 fights with them he has 1 unquestionable good win, Mayweather has the better resume Pacquiao has the better legacy..

 

Who had 1 win in 8 fights ? Where are you plucking this from,and instead of dissecting his resume and picking apart his opponents it would be more logical to look at it and say he's gone through all of them divisions and faced the best there was at each one and never ducked anyone,or can u name someone he has.the shame of it is is that floyd is an amazing fighter,there shouldn't be any need to be slagging him off,I rate him a hell of a lot higher if he would have fought margarito cotto b4 pac did tszyu Williams pac and lost a couple,fighters who people said,u know wot this guy might cause him probs other than fukkin maidana Ortiz guerro etc.hes a fukkin fraud,why people still buy into his **** is well beyond me
