Ward just doesnt want to fight. Sometimes you should make rules against clinching. When I fought him in 2009 he clinched me 88 times. When we watched it on tape we actually counted. I tried to push him away but hes clever at what he does. Hes a world champion of that. But I think hes actually scared. He throws fast punches, light punches, and then holds you. Its so boring. I agree with Kessler. What Ward does shouldn't be termed boxing. He has skills but they are all reliant on his ability to clinch and headbutt for the entire fight. One of the ugliest fighters i have EVER seen.
Agree, I respect Ward massively for his talent and achievements, but his style will never create a fan base. The clinching really does kill a fight

Any boxer that bad mouths Ward just mad that Ward is simply twice as good as they are. There isn't a fighter in history that can beat Ward. He's too skilled and he's also too clever. He's a nightmare for anyone.
